Excellent job. Could you just lower your oxygen pressure on regulator instead of trying to modulate your oxygen lever? I've used some cement-lined pipe before and I hated it.

its called scarfing you have to adjust your cutting to let the slag roll out. you cut from the bottom up so the slag rolls out and you dont melt the tip . i used to scarf still mill ladles about 4 5 inches thick and bottle rail cars

jwafterours if you view the video again with audio. They clearly explain why his oxygen setting is so low. The point is to cut low pressure so you dont make a mess of of the piece. He clearly states this at the end.
