Cutting, Combing and Styling Mohair on Reborn Dolls.

If you’ve ever gotten a doll that you loved but the hair was too long to style or just longer then you’d prefer. Here is a quick hair cutting tutorial that shows how to cut the hair from a toddler style and length down to a more natural younger baby length.

So I am really glad you made this video. I am a cosmetology teacher and make reborn dolls. However, my issue is that i dont want toddler hair. I can do haircuts normally but to get it to look like a newborn hair is hard to do. I am very heavy handed and root full head of hair like the one in this video. I love that baby's face.

Oh wow you did an amazing job! I just got a sillicone with her hair about the same length as this babies. I'm going to attempt this but I may end up pulling it all out. I'll try this first so that I can say that I atleast tried lolol 😅

It is easy enough after you get the hang of it. It’s a little nerve wracking the first few times knowing the hair is not going to grow back if you mess it up!

Hello there! It’s great to see how other artists cut hair! Hair cutting was the toughest thing for me to learn but I think I’m getting pretty good at it!💕

I’m sorry you feel that way. However, my 1st daughter was born utterly bald. And the other 2 only had a tiny dusting of hair. None of them started getting any hair until they were over a year old. This kit is the size of a 2-6 week old baby, not the size of a 1 year old. I chose to make her hair realistic to what I’ve experienced with my babies. Just because the hair is short does not make her a boy. I’ll give her a headband and cute clothes and she’ll be as adorable as ever.

@@enchantedkreaturekitsencha9919 I didn't mean for it to sound mean, I just love longer hair and when you were cutting it my heart hurt, lol I was thinking to myself, noooo stop oh my gosh... nooo lol but I know it's your dollie I love your work any way. It's just me. I love the little piggie tails on little girls. I would love to see her all finished. :)
