sir, if cutting length of spiral bar as per your calculation is 884.4 m & maximum length of bar available in market is 12 m. so is it necessary to add lap length into our cutting length if so, pls suggest us how much lap length we should add into cutting length

Second method gives you accurate results. In first method you have considered circumference length as one spiral bar length which is not accurate when given spacing is more. Even in your given example the result of cutting length from both methods varies by 200mm.

Everyone here texting you missed to provide lapping length. I took to response by giving you lap length. 884.4/12 meter(max length) 74 nos bar require. For each bar consider D40 lapping. i.e 480mm or 0.48m 0.48×74 nos =35.52meter more extar bar. Final ans will be 884.4+35.52 =919.92 meter. Learned from you sir. Do tell if I m correct.😁😁
