In this video i attach the main sail of the main mast. I also show to you how to make the rope rings for the pins. This Video comes in 1080p.
For the build i will use different ropes that they were sponsored by Ropes Of Scale and you can find the links below if you wish to do the same.

Hello John, another one bites the Dust, what A beautyfull job. And your right, I sllways say, yes the rigging looks complicated, but reduce it to one line at the time, and you'll se the logic in it. Looking foreward to the next one. Best wishes Simon 😊

Such a neat and professional build. Mine can sometimes look as though I have emptied the kit into a sack and then poured a bucket of glue on them. Although I get better with practice I'll never be at your level of perfection.

Another beautiful ship John. I love watching your work, I always learn something new. Summer is here in Bullhead City Arizona USA 49C (121F) hot, hot, hot! Cools down in the early morning to 40C. I know Athens gets a little warm in the Summer also. - Mike

Hi, John. Another nice build completed. One comment, I believe that by the mid 1800's that the sails on these types of ships were tied to the jackstays (the metal rods running above the yards) and not directly to the yards like for ships from the 1700's.

Another beautiful piece of art. Totally enjoy watching and learning new techniques from you. Trying to make decision between Billings Boats or Artensia Latina Cutty Sark for me to build. Definitely looking into Ropes of Scale for my next project. Thanks and keep up the very good videos.

@@JohnsWoodenShips that is the problem with AL. Their instructions are “on line” or come on a computer disc. For printed version you need to download and print the scaled versions so you would have to have an office store print them on the larger paper. Schematics from Billings look very detailed.

Good morning John, she looks amazing! I wish I had the time to work on the Bounty with the same dedication as you do. Life somehow seems to get in the way. After a 12 month hiatus, I am back to finally finish the rigging. I do have a question as to where a particular line goes. It appears from the drawings that is does nothing, but I know that can't be true. Is there a way to send you a PDF of the drawing and I'm sure you can enlighten me as to its purpose and where it connects. Thanks. Dave
