4:00 vs 4:11 the difference is tremendous. with the joyo that real valved sound stands out. I don't know if with the cuvave you didn't know how to knob the tone of the preamp, to get a balanced sound, but in this case it needs to highlight the bass more, to feel that valved power in the distortion. on clean ones they sound almost the same. Maybe it's just a matter of knobbing, but mixing the joyo with the metal zone sounds very good, I'd say it's made to record dream theater and metallica styles. sorry for writing a lot. greetings.

Thanks for your warm comment Sir. Yes, I highlighted the clean tones of the Cube Baby Preamp No. 1. I set the tone knobs to 9am, 0% and 100%. Even if we set the Tone Knob to 0%, the sound is still thin compare to the sound of Joyo American.

Yes Sir. Thats what this video is all about. As long as nasa last ng chain si Cube Baby, marerecord nya yung pedals before it. Pero if Cube Baby to Reverb, di masasama sa record yung reverb pedal..dapat ay, Reverb > Cube Baby.

Haha. Legit to Sir. You can emulate the sound na ginawa ko sa video na to. Most kasi ng malalaking youtuber ay naka interface na at amp sim. Tas tsaka idedemo yung pedal, for me kasi bias yon, kasi amp sims + IRs is designed to sound good right off the bat. (Pro audio quality actually). . So ayun, the best way to demo a pedal is via video cam, raw video then plug the pedals to amp input. Pero hassle yun kasi need ko ng sound proofed room.. Setup ko is, Preamp pedal + Cuvave + to Phone lang. Poco X3. So even though, I used a preamp pedal and IR. Everybody can emulate my setup. For 3k php. Hahah!! Unlike if naka pro production like malalaking youtuber. Thanks!?

Do you still need a DI box when connecting to mixer just for home practice?

If you are using a short cable, no need. But if you will be very far on the mixer, you need a DI Box.

Hi, i dont know is this happened to anyone I just bought a cuvave cube baby, but when i connected the guitar on the IN input and my headphones, my guitar doesn't sound. All the effects works because when i turn on the gain all the way up, it sounds the noise but there's no guitar signal!

Yung 3 band EQ na po ang mismong tone knob. Actually, mas maganda ito kasi 3 band eq na. Mas mase shape nyo tunog. Unlike sa Builtin Preamp ng CB, tone knob lang talaga. Which is more on dark or brighter sound lang.

Hello po sir Ehrosmith TV. Ask ko lang po if kung mag switch places naman ang Cube Baby and Joyo American Sound? Mauna si CB kay JAS sa pedal chain, last sa pedal order. May possible implications po kaya ito sa sound? Kumbaga, si JAS na yung amp ko (dahil amp sim pedal naman sya) and wala din po kasi akong physical amp. Direct na ako sa usb mixer then through earphones na lang. Bale ang set up ko po ay: Guitar -> pedalboard + (Cube Baby) + (Joyo American Sound) -> Ammoon AGM02 -> Earphones. Bale, plan ko pa lang din pong bumili ng Cube Baby saka amp sim pedal which is yan pong American Sound ang medyo natitipuhan ko. Thanks po. Di ideal bro. Kasi if mauna ang CB, then next ang AM Sound . Pag nagrecord ka, hindi masasama sa record yung AM sound kasi nga, after sya ng CB. Basic yun bro

Solid talaga Cuvave Cube Baby dahil sa IR Loader nya. Set up ko na naman, Demon TS>Joyo Extreme Metal>Cuvave Cube Baby. Bale IR lang gamit ko sa Cube Baby. Mas ok talaga may preamp pa rin.

Paps, may tanong lang ako kakabili ko lang kasi ng cube baby siguro mga 2 weeks palang, after i watched your tutorial about ir cabs, i tried installing some cabs, it was installed successfully but when i tried using the cabs the i've installed ganon pa din yung sound niya parang yung default cab pa din. Paano ifix yon? Or maybe sa update yon? Kasi inupdate ko naman yung cube baby don sa latest firmware eh

No Sir. If naka Amp Return ka, no need na ng Cube Baby. Bale, Joyo American Sound to Amp Return Rekta na. May video na din ako for this. Edit ko pa..

Tho, icheck ko din yung naka On yung Cab Sim even if amp return. Wala namang problema don. Check lang natin kung ideal ba ang tunog. Or baka makuha pa sa IR Distance Setting. Thanks!!

Sir bat kaya ganun. Nagpalit ako ng multifx. Gamit ko now mooer ge100. Pero di ko makuha gusto kong tunog. Pinagsama ko yubg Ge100 then Cuvave with distortion. So bali dalwang distotion. Wtf.... sobrang ganda ng tunog. Problem ko lang ay pasira na yung cuvave ko. Ok kaya yung jf14 replacemnt sa cuvave?

The american sound preamp pedal here is stock. Its cab sim is still there, but its not that evident because its just a EQ Curve Cab Sim. IR Cab is more advance than filter type Cab Sim.

No need for the irig.. Merong phones port yung Cube Baby, ang cable na gamit is 3.5mm to microusb. Yung ung pang record nya. Tas pede din yung USB port ni CB, need lang ng otg cable for recording

Interesting! I got my cube baby about 6 months now & felt like its built-in preamps work just fine. But, with the advent of single-pedal preamps these days, i thought it would be interesting to add something different on the meñu. Something that's got higher gains in just a flick of a single button, but with lesser hum. 'Coz, apparently, stacking a dirt pedal before (or after too) also runs the risk of generating more hum. Hence, i kept my preamp 'always on' & simply tinkered around with the guitar's volume knob. Anyway, here's mine, on the other hand. Ideally, hindi pwede kasi magkokontrahan yung 2 preamp. But, pwede nyo naman itry if goods sa inyo yung tunog, eh di pwede po. Hehe
