Impact died to me when AJ and Sting left Bobby Lashley and Hardy kept it entertaining for 20% of the show for the next couple years but the whole roster was nearly garbage after 2015

@@chandleryen7315 2015-2016 imo was the closest Impact came to dying entirely. Business leaders and ventures aside, The roster was tonally different and unbalanced in the worst of ways. Most characters were either under developed or just bland as hell. EC3, while a great in ring worker, imo was stailer than white-crusted dog shit as a character, Drew Galloway hadnt yet hit his stride, Tyrus, the X-division truly felt like filler, The hardies were kinda in a slump, main event was kinda empty etc.. Positive I'll touch up on, Bobby Lashley (and subsequently MVP) were working overtime and the clear MVPs of the time. Lashley truly was on another level here.

I remember Sami saying that he had a similar story. He was making much more in the indies compared to what he was first paid when he joined WWE, but eventually looking at where he is now, he is paid very much more and his goal was achieved. LA Knight wants to go the same path and I'm all in for it

I can really appreciate the personal honesty and self reflection, whether it was forced on him or not by how direct WWE was about it. "You're being released not because you aren't good enough, but because you're too much of an issue backstage." And he seems to have fixed it.

Man, LA Knight is a masterclass in not only betting on yourself, but as well of true self reflection of understanding that just because you left with heat and not under the best circumstances doesn't mean that you can't grow as an individual and as a professional to make amends and hopefully place yourself in a far better position than where you were, truly a class act I hope he goes onto win the MiTB and reach even greater heights from there

Im the normal 9-5 version of LA Knight. Moved back home to Texas for from California where I was making more. Took a job making less but was building my experience up. Now I’ have 2 jobs where I make as much as I was in California but paying less in state taxes. So lesson is that sometimes you gotta take that pay cut to elevate past where you were on top in a different place.
