I barely use brushes and combs. I feel like too much comes out and my hair isn't that dense. I just make sure i have a great detangling conditioner. Your channel has helped me soooooooo much!!

Hey Kaice great video. U can also get the spray bottles in your local $1 store in the plant section and u can get a mesh drainer from any hardware store. Spray the mesh w/rust protector or clear nail polish to prevent rusting

Every time I take down a protective style I feel that my hair can be a lil hard to manage after. You should maybe take a break from the protective styles and try to learn your hair and see what it like trust me that helps. Having your hair in protective styles all the time doesnt allow you to moisturize it properly and 4c hair can be dry so that maybe another issue as well.

C! 3L0 I agree.. when I take my protective style down I let me hair breath for about 3-4weeks and in that time frame I play around with different styles and learn about my hair..

Laurie A I say this. if you decide to wear protective styles make sure you give your hair a week or two break in between. Maybe wear two cornrows or do the Halo twist hairstyle they have different alternatives... that was my go to hairstyle and a life saver. Make sure you deep condition and put some type of moisturizing lotion and oils and a leave in conditioner. I know you probably have trouble with your edges laying flat I'm still finding ways to fix that because two of my younger sisters have 4c hair and that's the struggle but you can KZfaq some alternative but as everyone said before try different formulas, you have to be a chemist. lol The great thing about having short natural hair, we can buy those little sample size products to see what works without breaking the bank. I hope you don't give up and keep trying. I'm really sorry for the essay

Have you ever tried the carol's daughter monoi line that is supposed to reduce hair shedding? I tried it when I was relaxed, but I just big chopped 2 weeks ago. I may try it again. It worked. If you try it, please make a video to share if you saw a difference in the amount of hair you lost when washing. Thanks!
