CWTK - Pitepalt & Blodpalt "Palt Cooking"

7 жыл бұрынThis should has been one of the ealier episodes, but i finally got around to it. Palt, a potatoe flour dumpling! The most basic and wonderful dish known to man.
Recipe
1kg of whatever potoes you can get.
1L of flour
some salt
Pork / whatever you want to put inside the dumpling
Cook for 30-45 minutes depending on size/filling.
Lingonberryjam, salted butter and milk on the side.
Done

I would boil it maybe ~40m and then fry on real hot for 2-3 m while rolling 'em around.

If you want fried palt, boil the for a little over 40 minutes then either put them in the deep fryer for two mintues, or fry the outside on high heat in a pan until the outside is golden brown.

Had some old potatoes so I decided to try this out. Result: * Had to use bacon, it worked fine. * Old potatoes are dried, had to add water, quite a lot of water. * Cheated with the kneeding so I did not activete the gluten and some flour boiled away. * Palt coma achieved.

Robbaz, I gotta cook with you some day. I love to cook, and I think im a pretty good cook. Also, you should sear the pork to make sure you don't get salmenela, but as long as the pork was small enough, it should be fine. I also love how you say flour, I gotta start talking like that 😃. Us Americans say flour like flower. 😃😃
