Great tutorials of the CX350. But there’s still one question nobody seems to have a definite answer for: Is it possible to set up the camera to stream the video image directly to an iPad or iPhone via WiFi or Bluetooth without having to use KZfaq or Facebook? If it’s not possible yet, Panasonic should deliver this missing link via firmware update. For me it’s a dealbreaker!

Thank you Barry for all of your great videos. I'm wondering if you can help answer a question. I've gone through all of these steps a few times, trying first to tether to my iPhone's hotspot, and then secondly to my home wifi network. In both cases, it has failed to produce the WIFi three bars icon on screen when completed with the process. Which doesn't make sense, because in both attempts, the camera found these wifi networks, and I entered the passwords properly. Anything you can think of?

Is the P2 Network Setting software only available for Windows? I can't find a Mac version. Would you mind updating your description to include a link? PS the Panasonic website is awful :(

Hey Barry/Panasonic, Thank you for all of the videos you have created. Many of them that I have watched have been incredible informative and super helpful. But I do have three huge questions. 1) If we set the CX350 to stream 4k, how can we record our services to the SD Cards while streaming? (for some reason, it says we cannot record when we do this) 2) When we do regular (1080p) recording and streaming, things were excellent until the last 2 nights... now for some reason, the streams will work fine for about 15 seconds and then pause for several seconds, then start back. We have a 400MBPS wired connection directly in to our cable modem/router combo. What could be causing this? 3) When we record, the .mov files have FOUR audio sources.... When we play them back or go to edit, the file will utilize only 1 of the 4 audio sources. We really need inputs 1 and 2 to be used in the file as stereo audio rather than 2 (or, for whatever reason 4 separate audio sources.. the other 2 are internal mic L, internal mic R) Can you please help us with this one? We do not know who else to turn to. No one around here has equipment like this...we have only used this camera some over the last few months even though we have had it for 2 years. We have spent all this time TRYING to figure out the ins and outs of it. Thank you.

Nope, there is no START TRIGGER option in my cameras NETWORK / STREAMING Menu ..... All I have is: Proto first - set to RTMP(S) then the format - set to 320x180-30 fps 1.5M, then below that connection info - set to memory, the data type - set to General, and last the RTMP URL ...... I have the "start trigger" command set to User button 5 and nothing happens ..... and the link is OK according to the info.

Good morning, I have the Panasonic hc x2000 and trying to live stream via KZfaq. This is their message "the stream's current bit rate (1394.44 Kbps) is higher than the recommended bit rate. We recommend that you use a stream bit rate of 750 Kbps" I am using the streaming format of 640x360-25fps 4M. Can you offer any advice please?

Thanks Barry, I tried it on KZfaq and it did well. I tried it on Dacast but they ask besides a the rtmp-stream a username and password also added in the rtmp encoder and I don't see that option in the cx350.

followed the instructions to no avail. Entered stream url+stream key manually and created a SD by using the P2 settings program. The camera AG-CX350 shows that it connects to my iPhone as a hotspot but will not stream. Assigned the Start/Stop to User Button 5. It says "Streaming Start" but does not stream. Pressing the button again it repeats "Streaming Start" Using software 3.02 Help Please Thanks in advance.

Streaming Issue Anyone else had this problem with their CX350. I can only stream wirelessly if I run Facebook at the same time, select Go Live start streaming from the camera, wait for Facebook to connect to the camera, only then will it stream. If I don't run Facebook I can't get the camera to stream direct. What am I doing wrong??

Hello my name is Mario Sanchez, I am trying to stream with my AG-CX350 camera, I follow all the steps, even the camera is shown connected in the LAN icon, but I can not connect with Facebook, on the Facebook live page , the address appears to me activated or selected by default the option (Use a Secure Connection (SSL)), and the Server URL shows me rtmps: //live-api-s.facebook.com: 443 / rtmp / the S appears at the end of the first rtmps, in the videos that you show I don't see it that way. Please I hope you can help me, I have spent hours looking for a solution and nothing to see so far.

Thanks Barry, but this doesn't seem to work on Facebook which apparently requires a token. Would love to see you do a Facebook stream, if it's possible.

Please can I use panasonic ag-ux90 as a live stream camera as well?

Very disappointed to learn that wifi is not built in. The panasonic wifi dongle is rediculously expensive, especially given the amount of money spent on the camera itself. Other 3rd party wifi dongles are listed as compatible with this camera on the panasonic support page. Anyone have success with the supposedly compatible D-link DWA-171 dongle?

What about connecting two or more camera's? To keep it simple both CX350, both the same stream key and using an ethernet-switch. Is that possible? Has someone experience with that?
