You can’t even sit for the CISSP without 5 years proven experience, and a sponsor from a current CISSP holder, the CEH also required at least 1 year proven experience. FYI I’m a Security Engineer. But other than that your info was spot on lol

So you're saying to get started in vuln management you should get the CISSP (requires 5 years in the industry) and the CEH... Right from the ISC2 (the governing body for the CISSP) website, "The CISSP is ideal for experienced security practitioners, managers and executives...". The CEH has nearly nothing to do with vuln management whatsoever. However, it does give you a better understanding how things look from the attacker's point of view. It's also fairly well known for not having a large practical application portion to the exam.

Those certifications are not entry level.

I think they are...I dont believe in "entry level" certs....take the certs that help you get the job...period...anybody can take them there are no prerequisite courses required

@@trevorbailey2195 A candidate who doesn't have the required experience to become a CISSP may become an Associate of (ISC)² by successfully passing the CISSP examination. The Associate of (ISC)² will then have six years to earn the five years required experience.

why do you think they are not entry level....they dont have any prerequisites....dont limit yourself...they are entry level ....I had no cloud experience before taking them....just have an open mind...there are alot of learning material and labs
