My brother past away 3 years ago and I played Time at his funeral because he'd always have earphones on when he got back from the airport and it was Time, all the time that he was playing. The song and its many versions have an innate sense of eternity and returning home that makes it truly special. 4 notes...yet it tells an infinite story.

Mason Murugan It's not the exact same 4 notes all the time, the notes change a bit according to chords and the real chord progression actually happens in the lower melodies of the song :-)

I played this song, this evening, for my 2km speed-run. Today, the weather had cleared up after a sharp spell of cold winter evenings. The road ahead of me was surrounded by blue skies, no clouds, and the Sun setting. It was setting at the end of the road, the direction I was running in. I hit play on this and just run toward the Sun, occasionally looking up at the blue sky, it was euphoric. I ended up getting my PB on that run this evening, and during, it just made me think I was totally living in the moment and appreciating a "Time" to be alive.

i was standing on the beach watching the sunset tripping. the sky was a hue of orange, purple, and blue. as we stood there watching the light slowly fade behind the mountain it began to line up in small strands. as the light slowly faded away the strands began to grow longer and longer stretching across the sky. i began to think that as the earth was revolving, so was the light creating these strands of colour across the sky, in a way depicting time before my very eyes. i turned to have a conversation with a friend and when i glanced back it was gone. time is so precious we sometimes take it for granted. i was on vacation when this happened and i knew every minute, every hour, every day was a moment in paradise. i never wanted it to end, never wanted that feeling to leave. & before i knew it, it was gone. all things must come to an end...

deralex1able I prefer this one by far. Karanda seemed basically like the original track with some drum loops overlaid on it (and the clicky sound of the initial kick loop was just meh). I gotta give this one props for actually "remixing" the music, and doing it well. :D

It was only a matter of Time before someone made a progressive trance remix out of the original song. The whole composition fits absolutely perfectly for a progressive trance song, as we can see! And this remix was top notch, diamond quality stuff.

I keep coming back to this song every once in a while and each time I’m brought to tears. This simple melody and remix strikes a chord deep within me, like awakening an ancient archetype from a time long forgotten, perhaps 12,000+ years ago. Like another commenter said, this song gives a sense of eternity and returning home. We’ve been on a long journey of amnesia since the fall of Atlantis. Book burning after book burning we’ve forgotten who we are. But this song feels like an ancient reminder, tugging at your heart strings with magnificent beauty.

Don't worry everyone, this track and the feelings it evokes in us all are merely spawned from a moment in time when we felt good in ourselves..... Nostalgia. When this kind of awesome music is available in the world, all I can do it shake my head and grit my teeth when I turn on radio and I get bombarded by beiber, minaj and all the other talentless hacks blaring out from commercial radio.

Both those artists do actually have quite the vocal talent. Their shitty music on the radio isnt their fault. Its the producers pushing their shit music and radio stations only playing quick catchy pop songs, there seems to be a huge trend to get rid of all meaningful, thoughtful songs on the radio so were always about that quick catchy easily reproduced/replicated sound. Go look up the pink print album (sp) from nikki, that's where I learned she could actually sing. And JB while he is an annoying little shit he does have a great vocal range.
