If you go into the mouse settings in windows you can adjust those to compensate for the speed the actual mouse is changing when you change the colors. So, this means you can basically have any color you want and still have the mouse speed you want.

The RGB varies on the DPI of the mouse. It goes as follows: 800(Red) 1600(Green) Default mode 2400(Blue) 3200(Purple) 6400(Metalic Blue) 8200(Orange).

This mouse served me well. As a person who's never had a proper gaming mouse, this one lasted quite a while. The only complaint I have is its scroll wheel; after around a year or two of usage, the scroll wheel started scrolling the wrong way. Sometimes it would scroll the right direction, but it was so inconsistent that I couldn't get to the bottom of a page unless I put pressure on the scroll wheel. Actually, this is sort of a question comment now. How do I take apart the mouse? I think cleaning the scroll wheel a bit would help, but there's no way to take it apart as far as I can tell.

Man, I got this mouse with my new pc, and was looking up videos to try and figure out how to change the colors and I hit the buttons a couple times and they just sunk right into the mouse and they won't pop back out. It's stuck on green now. Other than that I like it but then again, it came with the pc. I wouldn't buy this mouse for 30, (and def not regular price at 60) ESPECIALLY when the buttons broke that quickly.

This happened to me too. There are screws on the bottom of the mouse under black adhesive. If you remove the screws, you can fix the buttons.

@@arynburkhardt8438 there are two sets of screws (4 in total) on the bottom of the mouse hidden under two sheets of flimsy plastic, located at the very top and bottom of the back of the mouse. you essentially have to pry it off of the mouse to reveal the screws, but be careful, when i ripped off the plastic sheets, the adhesive that kept it together stuck onto the mouse instead of the plastic. the mouse still works, it's just that the screws are exposed now since i can't stick the plastic back on to cover them.

It does not have a braided cable nor will the RGB stay on one color regardless of DPI setting. It will change colors in the same pattern no matter what. It's a fine mouse not a good one.

ANNOUNCEMENT!!! IF YOU"RE USING THE ELITE M1-131 MOUSE THIS WILL NOT WORK. YOU REQUIRE THE PRO VERSION OF THE MOUSE TO DO THAT. The buttons are not programmable. The frontmost and lower button slows your DPI while holding it making it easier to hit shots. The button behind it navigates to the last tab you were in in your browser and also is detected as a mouse button in games. The mouse button in the middle of the 3 side buttons is a double click. The furthest back button navigates backwards in web browsers and is detected as another mouse button while playing games. The buttons behind the scroll wheel change the color and DPI. Starting from red (800 dpi) it increases by 800 by every color. You cannot make it green while having 800 dpi. Hopefully this helps somebody! Also holding down a dpi button for 3 seconds while toggle the rgb on and off

there is a way to get around the "dpi color issue". what you can do is select you mouse color with the dpi buttons, then go to mouse settings and click 'additional mouse settings", go to "pointer options" and select your pointer speed. hope this helped (:

Monto Levenski what he means is that you select the dpi that has the color that you want and then go to the windows mouse settings and change it there to match whatever sensitivity you would want. The thing though is that windows sensitivity is not the same as dpi and it will not feel the same.

Just found out about the DPI settings changing with the colors, I thought my computer was messing up Lol. I wanted red but that's too slow and blue is too fast, so I'm stuck with green which I like but it would be nice to change the colors without the speed change.

@Treyyy yeah this mouse is balls, its tracking is horrid. all these ppl on here worried about the fucking different light colors. if you attempt t use this mouse with low sens in a competitive fps dont expect to be able to 180 flick or really do any large fast mouse movements of any kind or you will end up looking at the ground or ceiling.. this is the single greatest mouse i have ever owned and used. i have been using mine for longer than 4 years and i am so dedicated to this mouse it is currenly held together with electrical tape, paching tape, and blue loctite. it has flown out of a car, had a quarter gallon of milk spilled on it, this mouse has outlived graphics cards. cyberpower is the single greatest company under the god damned sun. thank you Eric Cheung for this masterpiece of technology. i have ripped everything out of the caase i got my first prebuilt in and now it houses a 3090 with a brace made of commemorative pins and opened zippo lighters. my compuiter is a powerhouse housed inside of a tank of a case and my hands are lucky enough to be graaced by the light of the cyberpower m1-131 elite gaming mouse every day. if Eric Cheung ever came to america i would spread my legs open for him like a can of condensed milk. I have one of these, the mouse looses track very easily when playing it gets a little annoying. You cannot program the buttons (From what I'm aware) for some reason there is two left click buttons, in the video you will see that it is in-between the side mouse buttons which by the way, is not a good place at all. However I do like the sniper button, the whole purpose is when you press it, your dpi will lower, making your movement slow, and easy to line shots up. (Button is the farthest too the front out of all side mouse buttons.) I find that my hand gets uncomfortable when gaming for too long, but that's just me and is most likely different depending on the size of you hand. Over all it is not a bad mouse and is good for starting out.

the mouse featured in the video is not the pro, but the base. the mouse shown on the cyberpowerpc webpage in the video is the pro. the biggest clue is the silver center in the pro. also, the color of the rgb is not determined by the dpi selected.

This is not the Elite Pro M1 this is just the standard M1. The Pro version allows you to customize the RGB and DPI along with button customization with Cyberpowers Elite Pro M1 software. How you tell the difference is the Pro version has a silver plate where the mousewheel and DPI buttons are and the standard is just gloss black. Also the cable is not braided just plastic sleeve. I'm probably sure someone has already pointed this out but I will point it out again.

So I’m entirely sure how but he was pressing the top buttons and I’m assuming he pressed it too hard and so now they are stuck inside of the mouse and I can’t get them back up

Tartar_1 I mean if it’s already kinda broke, I’d risk trying to pry the buttons off and see if it’s fixable.

only 2 of the buttons are programmable the bottom left button doesn't do any thing and the button between the 2 long buttons is just a left click button

aaaaaa I got this mouse passed down to me by my friend, which I'm very grateful for! Only downside is the buttons to change the color are literally IN the mouse, is there any way I can fix this?

Hold the bottom button on the top of the mouse for 5 to 10 seconds and they'll automatically turn off, do the same to turn them back on

enter bios, power settings or management and enable efr i think its called.

it is not in each individual but theres probably a software page on the website that you downloads and you can program the Marcos and other settings (i might not be right but i hope this helps)

i have the same exact mouse but the dpi is different pink is right after red, red is the lowest dpi i cant figure out what it is :(( idk what the pink dpi is
