Loved this play through because of this build! I wanted to ask, what's the difference between the reflex tuner and the revulsor? On paper they look like they have the same effect

Is there a link to the build itself? I am level 25 and am currently running a netrunner/assassin build. Do you have any videos for something like that in 2.1? Also, I know we only get 1 reset. If we use a mod to reset, does anyone know if that disables achievements?

I honestly didnt like it before either, and always favored the Scalpel, but the insane attack speed is all what matters for an endgame build.

@@T7PDM what are your thoughts on just using a normal tier 5++ katana with the slice em up and cyclone mod? The attack speed seems to be on par with Byakko’s passive without having to neutralize an enemy.

The Revulsor is completely overpriced, and you are not really slowed down anyway because berserk and your reflex perks are giving you a lot of movement speed bonuses to counter this. The little slowing is even helping you when there is so much going on on the screen. Its only a waste of capacity to use the revolsor.

Reflex 9 should be your first goal, then tech 9, and body 15 for the adrenalin mechanics.

You have to go for Reflex 15, Body 15, Tech 9 and Cool 4 first. In tech only go for the left tree first. Cool is the least important.

Of course it depends if you want to use blunt weapons or not. This build was labelled to be a melee build, so I recommended to get the melee perks. I mostly use it with blades and shotguns. Sandevistan will also work with it.

Yes, I have used it myself. It may be a bit more comfortable to use Sandevistan on earlier levels, because enemies melee attacks are very deadly. You can always switch between Sandevistan and Berserk. A standard DB4 Shotgun is very OP on lower levels. And if you dont have the Byakko yet, you can use the Scalpel or the Satori.

The Chimera is easy if you use an assault rifle. It just requires you to destroy all the marked parts of it and then it dies. For everything else melee can be perfectly used.

You dont have to make any changes other than equipping the blades. However the mantis blades are much worse than any Katana, if you dont like Gorilla arms then rather let the spot empty and get +8 capacity.

320 should be reachable even with existing characters after patch 2.1 Mine stopped aswell at 320 again.

@@T7PDM On my existing save cyberware capacity shards refused to drop properly, i got stuck at i think 350 (incl.50 from edgrunners). Started a new game, now have 180 ish on level 36 without edgerunners (tech 15 yet, i think i'll again go for all15 - tech20, or if there are a lot of shards that i don't need edgerunners i'll go with 20 intelligence for extra queue size). Also the guy that drops BFC9000 doesn't spawn, i don't understand , are there hidden requirements for him to be there? FYI just noticed, Iconics that drop from quests\bosses become Tier 4 at lvl 25, Tier 5 at lvl 33. I honestly thought it to be 30 and 40 respectively like with cyberware, but i was wrong. Also another intro FYI: if all Watson gigs, cyberpsychos and NCPD scanner activities are completed, and the Pickup is done violently (either by shooting Royce or giving him infected shard), after you exit All foods you'll be precisely level 20, allowing installation of tier 3 cyberware. And Konpeki with Tier 3 cyberdeck & other stuff (requires total of about 150k money, which you'll have) feels completely different, even if completed guns blazing. Also non-obvious Konpeki advice: you can't bring weapons but you can bring crafting specs (Buzzsaw and\or Psalm 11:6), even one for a grenade, and with a grenade - again, skull arasaka gunners are not that scary.

Still as optimized as it can be.

The revulsor is only a waste of capacity, with Berserk you got a lot of speed buffs, so that the normal reflex tuner already feels like normal Sandevistan mode.

Only need berserk for the maxtac guys. I was just fighting like 20+ police and militech guys and didn't have to hit berserk until Maxtac showed up.

Thats exactly how I recommend to play it. And with Berserk the Maxtacs will be melting just like normal enemies, you can throw them around and play bowling with them.

You should go for 15 Reflex, 15 Body and 9 on Tech, get the middle tree in Body + Adrenalin, Get all the Reflex skills shown in the video and the left tree in tech for your health items. Skip the skeleton, Axolotl and second heart cyberware and you will only need 140 capacity. You can also equip a Sandevistan until you get strong enough to use Berserk. I made it on level 26.

Shotgun is the best weapon early game. Once you get the scalpel you can use it with Sandevistan, if you get the Byakko and you are beyond level 30 you can try out berserk. If you struggle with berserk keep on using Sandy. Berserk can also be useful on lower levels as it makes you invulnerable, but I struggled a lot on early levels. The blood pump biomonitor combo was a real game changer.

Start with Cool 4, Body 4, get Tech 9, get borrowed time, Reflex 9, get flash and thunderclap, Reflex 15, get finishers, Body 15 get Adrenalin, then max out Tech for Edgerunners.

Use it if you want, but it is not needed at all and wont make a difference. It gives stamina, which you have plenty.

As you can clearly see in the video it works even when you have charges, the reflex tuner kicks in no matter what, if you took enough damage for it to be triggered. Your health is taken away all at once and not gradually. (Even though it might appear differently) You wont hit 35% before you hit 25%, you will directly go down to trigger all effects. There is only a very tiny window where you might not get it, when your health ended up between 35% and 25%, which is very unlikely to happen. PS: It could also be that you have to increase your difficulty to take more damage and make it work properly.

Unfortunately netrunning is a very different playstyle that requires a totally different attribute allocation and the operating systems are mutually exclusive items. You can either go netrunning, or you make a build that can do everything else. I have made a perfectly tanky netrunner last week, if you are dying with that build, you are not playing it correctly. You are not invincible while using Sandevistan. With Sandevistan Maxtac is much more likely to kill you. If you can live with that, you can perfectly make the build with Sandevistan too, You should use the Falcon Sandevistan and the Quantum tuner for it

@@mjc5621 If you want to play with Sandevistan after patch 2.1 you should go for the Militech Falcon Sandevistan and combine it with the Quantum tuner as it was explained in the video.

Sure if you like Mantis blades then go for it. Unfortunately The arm cyberwares dont have unique abilities and cost capacity, thats why I prefer to use a Katana.

Only with the chrome compressor you can get to 400. You get 21 base 3 per level 50 from edgerunners Up to 20 from renaissance punk Up to 80 from shards

Oh I didn't know that, based on this, 201 at level 60 50 Edgerunner 20 Renaissance punk 80 shards (didn't know this, I guess i didn't have enough) 15 (there is also from Engineering) 366 Capacity max without compressor. Chrome Compressor 5++ (additonal 42) 408 Maximum Cyberware Capacity.

When your biomonitor does not have a health item it will trigger nothing, thats when reflex tuner and borrowed time comes into play, they will give you a free health item when you make a kill at low health, which is then instantly consumed with your biomonitor. The 50% threshold is entirely irrelevant.

In 2.1 you get 54 from shards: 7x green 7 x 2 = 14 4x blue 4 x 3 = 12 4x epic 4 x 4 = 16 2x legendary 2 x 6 = 12 == 54 capacity (base game) In the addon you get another 14 capacity from shards. 5x green 5 x 2 = 10 1x epic = 1 x 4 = 4 (requires level 30 when looting in the stadium garage) == 14 capacity (phantom liberty) +21 base +180 (3 per level) 60 x 3 = 180 +50 from edgerunners +15 from engineering progression +20 from renaissance punk +70 from chrome compressor == 424 total maximum capacity in 2.1

Borrowed time from the left tech tree is the best perk in the game. It always gives you free bloodpump when you are low health. This is what keeps you alive all the time. You can substitute second heart for Microrotors, but the benefit for this is literally non existing when you use the Byakko. If you die in wave 5 of maxtac you will realize why second heart is the better option.

You dont need field medic, but dont underestimate the left side tech tree.

@@T7PDM Yeah, but Field Medic is REALLY useless when you delve into its description. It doesn't increase health in any way but rather shortens the healing animation time. But there is no healing animation with blood pump... Instead, I would pick "Built Different" and replace "Subdermal Armor" by "Cellular Adapter"since the cost in 2.1 have been reduced to 30 to only 10. That said, I think you are right about second Heart, if you have to fight against maxtac.

@@Mrevolite13 Yeah, you need to adapt, specially when you're low on perk points and whatnot, that's when you start paying attention to the perk descriptions. I also think field medic is useless because it is, for the reasons you mentioned. I think he used it because at a certain point in the game later on, you get so many extra perks you don't really need, u just start placing them on random perks just for the sake of it, and field medic was one of them. I'm using proxishield instead of subdermal, because as a melee build (and because I use blunt weapons i.e fists and clubs) I'm constantly closing the gap between the enemies, and that's specially easy with quake, because once they're knocked down, you can easily get into their range and make the best out of proxishield's damage reduction. Cellular is a viable option, I don't use it because it doesn't suit my playstyle. About the creator's reply to your comment, I think it's a language barrier thing and he most likely misread xD All in all, I'm having a shit ton of fun playing melee + blunt weapons

Check out the level 30 Sandevistan / Melee / Berserk build, you should save your berserk for Maxtac and dont use it before: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d5mAZZhzyLOpiKc.html What keeps you alive are: Axolotl, Reflex Tuner, Borrowed Time from Tech Tree, Biomonitor and Bloodpump. If you are missing any of these including the connected perks, your build has a major error. Its basically impossible to die.

@@T7PDM yea I also have everything cyberware 5+ also and shinobi skill 60 and all the perk you said to put but not 18 on cool because I don’t have phantom liberty. Is there any other way to get attribute points without phantom ability? And yes every single time max tax spawn after I finish my berserk TT is there anyway that you can decease more cooldown on berserk or even improve stamina, without berserk just killing like 3 enemies drain all my stamina so I have to use berserk.

@@ama25626 You only have to use berserk when maxtac drops, you can survive infinitely, but the game usually crashes after 4-5 rounds. The game is very unstable since 2.1.

​ @T7PDM bro, never mine. This build is an absolute beast. You're right. Just save berserk for Maxtac. They got demolished; what makes it easier is that I get to spam the finisher since it's unlimited stamina, so the Maxtac group can't even move. The best way to demolish them is first to remove the melee maxtac, and then the remaining three are way too easy to kill. It got so old that my sandy didn't even get activated, and they already died. I keep pressing the finisher on them; the finisher is OP since it's basically like an aim bot. It will land no matter what, even if they are using sandy. I kill them by throwing two red grenades when they land, activate berserk start spamming at the melee max tax and use the finisher every time it pops since that stops their attack and 100% hits the aim bot. After killing that max tac I have the rest of the berserk to kill the nearest max tac: the tanker is probably best to kill second the other two are so easy to kill that you do not even need berserk the main tip I found is to make use of the finisher super OP also, if you have headhunnter 60, finisher does even more damage and also gives health and makes berserk even more powerful so basically a god this is also played on very hard diff

You have to reroll these stats during upgrading if you have the driver upgrade and chipware connoiseure perks. You can basically get them on any item.

This is very obviously not a Sandevistan build even though you can make and use it as a Sandevistan build, It wasnt mentioned as an option here, but it was mentioned in the Sandevistan build: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iKuRprCEq8vGfok.html However at max level the Scalpel loses its advantage, therefore whatever hits fastest, wins.

If you drop the Kiroshi Cockatrice Optics for the Quantum tuner and Sandevistan then Scalpel can also be used here. However it is questionable if it outperforms the quicker attacks. I have changed my mind a lot about the Byakko and I find it to be the better weapon now.

The Falcon Sandevistan is the better one. But with Sandevistan you will be squishy like a marshmallow, this build is way better with berserk. Berserk will trigger reflex tuner and slow time aswell.

These stats are random and can be change whenever you upgrade your cyberware, if you have the driver update and chipware connouisseur perks.

@@i_love_crpg The cyberware is picked because of their effects, not becauseo of the random stats. Just ignore those stats at the bottom if you dont know how to change them.

The Biomonitor was previously triggered at 35% and reflex tuner at 25% and as long as you get enough damage at once you will trigger both. You dont lose your damage gradually, you lose it all at once, so if you take enough damage to instantly get to 25% you are still getting the Reflex tuner, no matter when the Biomonitor triggers. It doesnt matter. Maybe it works less on lower difficulties, because you take less damage on lower difficulties, thats all.

The 3 random stats under the cyberware can be changed when you upgrade them at any ripperdoc, when you have driver update and chipware connossoire.

It can either be god mode or free build, but not both.

If you use these attributes, you can always switch between Sandy and Melee, with the Netrunner build you are pretty much stuck with Netrunner. So you will be more flexible with this. But all builds are great and make fun. If you are liking netrunner then totally go for it.

I'm going to give the sandy and the berserk a try however I'm not max level yet I'm level 49 thanks for the repl and suggestion and my cyberware capacity is 229

You dont need really it when you already have edgerunners. But if you want to, you can go for it. Its only a one time boost for every activation, though...

All builds for 2.1 are still working the same.

To get the Axolotl and the Byakko, you have to complete all the gigs from Regina and Wakako. The cyberware is unlocked by level and can be found at any ripperdoc. The item locations are all well known, you can just google them.

Yes, very much the strongest build. You can fight maxtac forever as if it is nothing. You dont have to change anything.

The quantum tuner is the reward for helping songbird to get to the moon. You can only get it when you side with her and send her to the moon in the final missions of Phantom Liberty. You can google the necessary steps for it.

Just start to play. After completing act 1, when you unlocked the whole city, you can do the Dalamain questline and beat on the Brats for a lot of money and XP. Alongside with Heroes, Shoot to Thrill, and other early activities.

At even lower levels using a shotgun like the DB4 is one of the best options. You need to level up quite a bit to unlock all the important items. The revulsor is insanely overpriced, you already have the movement speed bonuses from berserk, so you are basically not slowed down anyway. The revulsor is just a colossal waste of capacity. You also want the slowdown to last longer to secure a kill and get the free bloodpump charge.
