is the company big enough to handle launching all these projects at once? I would rather they just worked on one at a time, witcher 4 or cyberpunk orion, and make them both really good

@SuryaGupta-te7fq They're not coming out at the same time. CDPR Europe will release TW4 first and CDPR North America will release Cyberpunk Orion on its own by 2029 or 2030. The Witcher 1 Remake is being developed by Fool's Thoery of previous Witcher devs that worked on the original trilogy with Co dev help from CDPR Europe.

@@etherealdreamerart Jus that there are people involved who were part of earlier installments doesnt say a lot. Especially not if these people have to work in tandem with the ESG/DEI guidelines CDPR fully embraced about a year or 2 ago. @@froztout can't really put a single game on top but my top 5 would be rdr 2, bloodborne, tw3 (even though i'd like to say the whole series), warcraft 3 (roc and tft) and bg 3. Honorable mentions: cp77, ds 1 and 3, zelda botw, sekiro, tw1 and 2, kingdom come deliverance etc. etc.

well thats how it is with big titles, they ALL take that long. Only did they choose to inform the people on whats up, and thats why nobody does that. people dont want to hear whats the status they want to hear its finished now ! but thats not how reality works.

In rdr2 youre playing Arthur's story, in no way you are immersed as Arthur. Like a movie you're just puppeteering Arthur. FPP made the CP so much impactful and personal with in game cutscenes. Your wishlist completely ruins the game. Like you basically describe a whole other gameplay style. Maybe you're playing the wrong game. Companion system? Tpp? Leaving night city????? Nah. @orbit1894 ok, 1. so we are not allowed to compare the game to RDR2 because it's like a Movie well it does a god damn superb job at being a movie. So much so that you do actually get very immersed at being arthur, stuff that other games also do better than CP. 2. Yes, i basicly want to have a Cyberp. Orion with the Map layout of witcher 3. Wicher 3 had 3 bigger city maps and about like 20 Villiges settlements. Separated by roads, forests, swamps, and sea. With them all loking different and representting multiple RL. Cultures. All of that 10 years ago with a smaller team, less Budget, ect. I never said they i wanted to have the first person removed, just from certain cutscenes and encounters. By the way, did you know that CP 2077 actually wanted to do the 3rd person stuff that im asking for, but because of crunch and time concerns, it was scrapted, and just first person was chosen. Ahh yes, the mass effect companion system. Please, tell me what memrable companions you have in CP2077? Then compare them to even the witcher 3, people like vesimier, lambert, eskel, zoltan, dandilion, the romances, ciri. For the ending you can call up to 20 different story Characters to help you fight of the Wild Hunt. What do you have in CP jackie, the romances and rough, + the Aldecaldos if you chose the Nomad ending. Like sorry, that does not compare. Im just trying to give Positiv feedback, also because i believe that CDPR could do it. To fuse the Possitives of all of those games into a phenomenal game.

If you're referring to cyberpunk. I think they just need three life paths again. In a way, all of the endings could be sorted into a Lifepath. We would have 2 corpo endings, one with Arasaka and one with Militech after the surgery. We would have two streetkid endings, one with Rouge and one without her, where we ended up flying to the cristal Palace Space station for Mr. Bleu eyes. And the Nomade ending.

I fell in love with Night City. The game is wonderfully fun. Always has been imo. But I don’t come back to it in vr with the latest mods because I’m bored. I come back because I miss racing through every part of the city that’s so gorgeous. Cdpr knows how to craft a world you want to inhabit. Not just a game. That’s what I have faith in, bugs aside

I just didn't know what "modernized" and "wider audience" had anything to do with anything. You could have just clarified that you were talking about shallow or misleading marketing if that's what you meant.

@@timhaldane7588 i'm not pissy, you just aren't really even attempting to think for yourself here it's simple logic, if you cater to everyone, you cater to noone. or rather, look at player retention, and what do you see? Games with specific, solidified formula that cater to very specific niche gets the most consistent userbase. it's why experimental games which were much more common in the past didn't really do well in addition to that being the issue, CDPR had a massive turnover of senior developers that had obviously impacted the game in an obvious way. 7 years in development, 3 active years from all of that (meaning 4 were pre-production), a seeming backwards step in technological and AI advancements, quest development and design, and overall story, QoL features, need I go on? The engine isn't the issue because previous developers did more with less, so obviously management aside, the workforce wasn't up to the task. This had manifested itself in such that half the promises had to be retracted, and other half were somewhat fulfilled or true in the most stretched-out form thereof. Again, if you actually followed the development, you wouldn't be blaming just the overheads. this is more than just "shallow" or "misleading" marketing, this is ineptitude when compared to previous title. If they were capable of making good on their promises, and just needed more time, we would have seen a lot, lot more promises fulfilled come Phantom Liberty. But reality is much different than that, isn't it? Is that the marketing's fault? the managements? They had 4 years to make up for it, which is 1 more year than it took to develop the game in full production. For majority of those 4 years, they retained a bulk of developer force too, so there's really no excuse.
