Thanks for sharing. Did CISSP or CISM help you land a job you’ve wanted? I’ve got Sec+ and having troubling get passed interview bcuz they’ve asked about hands on experience for cybersecurity which is like catch 22. Studying CISA, and maybe CISSP? Would at least knock on the door?

I wasn't looking for a job. It was just a challenge and credibility for myself as I run my own Cybersecurity consultancy. Really depends on what roles you are looking for. Maybe certifications are not your problem. I mentored people who got jobs without any certifications. Happy to have a chat. Here's my calendar calendly.com/askjai (the money goes to charity). I am a team lead. Should I do cism before cissp? I heard cism is easier so I wanted to do cism then cissp

Yes, CISM is easier than CISSP for sure. It really depends. Not sure if I can advice.

Yes, it could. You still need little bit of IT knowledge but it's not rocket science :)
