All the stats also power states like north Korea, Russia, eastern Europe states, certain "first world" countries and south asian countries. Scamming isn't a new thing and there are large organized crime syndicates everywhere, even in the glorious United States of America. None of the top 10 hacker groups responsible for billions of lost funds yeartly are from Nigeria, yet bloggers and the likes continue to churn stats they read from fellow unreliable sites. While hackers in north Korea and the likes get less scrutiny for their actions.@@Lightnang_

You will never be a Cybersecurity expert with Windows on your flash and malware injected directly into your UEFI firmware by Windows Update on an OS that logs every single click you make and sends it directly to Microsoft. Despite this and many other issues Windows has you use it proudly. @@awex7 Tor is not a browser, it is an overlay. And no, the Tor nodes can be controlled by the governments, or for that matter anyone who chooses to be the exit node will have the access to your traffic. You can either trust others or trust software that you write. You could write a web crawler and build a simple index for your local search engine. But this wont make you anonymous either. Your ISP will likely see data that isn't meant for their eyes. If you want to be safe you could rent a few servers and route traffic through them throughout the world (VPN). This will not be idiot-proof but will give you time and will have a self-destruct mechanism that you control. Keep in mind that the data is still logged by the ISP and possibly by the company owning the servers you would rent. I find your response very uneducated.

Sounds like what you're talking about seems pretty similar to Stadia, where you connect to a cloud based games provider and send your controller inputs through the internet to that. Cloud is often a good choice for scaling up a business, but sometimes you need on premises services in case the internet goes down. A small company I worked at years ago had issues with internet connectivity, so cloud migration was minimal for them as if the internet went down (as it often did), we had most of our tools and POS systems local. Hybrid cloud is the way a lot of companies are going now, where some things are purely cloud based and some things are local, which seems to be the best balance of the two
