Anoris T i-size is setting new industry standards in terms of safety. Thanks to its integrated airbag technology, the forward-facing car seat offers approximately 50% more protection than conventional forward-facing car seats, and is at least as safe as rear-facing car seats. Facing forward, the child enjoys much easier interaction with the driver. For more information on the CYBEX Anoris T i-Size Car Seat, please visit fal.cn/anorisyoutube

After reading the comments I was in doubt if I should buy it.. now that I’ve been using it for 2 months: It is an amazing chair, my baby loves it!!!! Super comfortable and very easy for me to check on him. It’s expensive but considering the years that it will be useful for, so worth it.

if the car is in a crash with several cars, does the airbag only help with the first impact? if the car vaults, will the child slip out of the seat? if you break hard but not hard enough for it to go off, won't it strain the childs neck? and if it goes off for a hard break but not so hard that its an accident, will you need to buy a new one then? don't see how this is safe at all.
@dts7824

@@JuliaStuxberg yes it will only help with the first impact, just like a car. No they will not slip out. The chair knows when it's a crash, just like your car airbags don't go off when breaking. The impact shield alone does a better job protecting their neck than just straps. And also, with this chair. You are protected from front and rear collisions. With a rear facing you are not protected from rear end collisions.

@@dts7824 I still don't understand why anyone would choose this over beside stretch for example. Sweden has a test called the plus test. its much harder to pass then ADAC. No forward facing chair has yet passed the test ever. And they test for frontal collision, rear end collision, side impact, vaulting, and in higher speed than ADAC. i think that speaks for it self. If this chair pass the plus test then i can accept it.

I have one of these for a 3 year old and he usually keeps things on top of the very thick belt as his lap is inaccessible due to the belt. iPad , books, toys whatever. Will the exploding Airbag not Smash these items into a child's face? I can't imagine this has been missed in the development and testing so I am genuinely interested to understand how this is being mitigated. Thank you for any information

Hey Arizona, the Anoris T i-Size airbag inflates to a consistent volume. The shape and size of the airbag is designed to protect a range of different body shapes and sizes. Our tests prove that the system does not harm younger children but still maximally protects the oldest occupant, that fits the Anoris T i-Size. We hope this helps to clarify this, but please do let us know if you have any more questions 😊

We as a company still greatly respect and promote rear facing travel for as long as possible, but now with the addition of the Anoris T i-Size, parents with alternative solutions for seats in this age category is provided. What happens after airbag is deployed? Does seat need replacement? Why is there no seatbelt or harness? Will the child get punched in the face by an airbag every time the car has to make a sudden stop?
@cybexglobal
@cybexglobal 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Christina, thank you for your reaching out. The Anoris T i-Size airbag works by limiting the forward motion of of the child's body and head during a crash, reducing the effect of impact force. In a frontal crash, the airbag inflates within milliseconds, acting like a flexible cushion that dampens head and body movement in a similar way to a standard car airbag. Therefore the child's head will come into contact with the airbag, but not with enough force to cause significantly injury. Generally speaking, any possible injury caused by safety measures during a crash must be weighed against the potential injurie is that could happen if that safety measure isn't used. For example, wearing seatbelts can cause bruising during a crash. However, if someone does not wear a seatbelt they may suffer much more serious injury. While there may be a small chance the operation of the airbag could cause a minor inury, this would be a considerably better outcome than a serious injury that may occur without the cushioning and restraining effect of the air bag.
@cybexglobal
@cybexglobal 2 жыл бұрын
We strongly recommend that you replace a car seat after any kind of accident. Even if the airbag did not deploy during the accident there may be tiny hairlines cracks in the seat, which may not be visible to the naked eye. These cracks can diminish the level of protection provided by the seat.

@@cybexglobal Can the electronics of Anoris T i-Size make a difference between a real impact from a violent braking ? It has logically no "impact sensors" just like cars, so would it accidentally inflate even if there's no car crash ? In your promotional video, the woman brakes suddenly when she sees a deer crossing... then you show a 3D simulation of the airbag that inflates... and after, we see the child with no airbag deployed! Is it because they had no impact ? If an impact is necessary to deploy the airbag, what speed is required to make it inflate ? How does that work ?
@cybexglobal
@cybexglobal 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Nima, you are right, the electronics can detect the difference this is why in this scenario the airbag did not deploy because there is no need for it. We also want to add that the airbag can only be triggered when installed in the car. We have tested the seat for thorough uses and misuses scenarios and we can confirm that there was no way the airbag can be triggered by you or the child. The isofix must be connected to the vehicle, the the load leg and impact shield needs to be installed. Even under these conditions, the electronics will only trigger the airbag if it detects the characteristic pattern of forces resulting from a severe frontal crash. This is similar to adult airbag system in a car. Thanks for giving us clarify this point.

Sorry about the first comment, I just can't help. Now seriously ... Why do you put such effort in that kind of carseat when it's already proven, that RWF is up to 90 % safer than conventional forward facing carseat? Yeah, 50 % is not such a great number when you have to protect your child's life! So it's NOT at least as safe as RWF as you claim, it's 40 % less safe...
@MartinPolreich

I have just read an article with the owner of Cybex and he claims that this seat was his goal since the very beginning and he keep explaining. I will quote him and translate to English: "Toddlers in the back-facing seats take attention of the drivers from focusing on the road. This seat allows better interaction between the child and the parent via the mirrors while offering the same level of safety as the back-facing seats. There was a study made by TÜV made in 2017 which claims that 94 % parents started using the front-facing seats earlier than recommended by the manufacturer. In the other words, the whole child seats industry has commited to transport children back-faced, but parents did not. They want the practicality and comfort of front-facing seats as soon as posible". This was a quote and I would like to add some comments myself. I as well keep my children back-faced as long as possible, but it's just not an option for everyone. There are children with special needs etc. which just need to have the option to have the eye contact with parent as soon as possible. Also the study claims that vast majority parent ignore the recommendations anyway. So if there's a seat which can help with taht, it's great. Also, it's important to say, that this seat is recommended by manufacturer for children from age of 15 months till 6 years. A lot of children in this age cannot simply fit in the back-facing seats. So to summarize, I totally understand this product. Nobody is denying that back-facing seats are the safest option. But if, for any reason, you just need to use the front-facing one for your children, it's better be the one with airbag than the one without.
@LenculkaGD
@LenculkaGD 2 жыл бұрын
I partly agree with you. The interaction is quite difficult to talk about - driver needs to focus on the road, looking in the mirror to check the child as much as on the video is quite much. I understand some kids are "problematic" in any way (don't want to insult anyone) and even mirror, that is specially made for this, helps child and parent to interact with each other can't be the solution in rearward facing carseat - RWF is still better when your child needs to see you all the time when you sit next to him in the backseat 🙏 Yeah, I know sometimes there is no possibility to be there and need to drive too but it's always "some child from the milion" and many should be happily rearward facing. One thing that bothers me the most - minimal age. Limit "15 months" is just a norm for manufacturers, at least something was done but can you imagine that small child in it during crash? I saw the crash test video and immediately thought it might be very dangerous because the airbag is very fast and for such a small kid very low (just where his head is)... It's approved up to 115 cm, rwf up to 125 cm but the myth about legroom... Would you please send me the article/interview? Undoubtedly it's very visionary product but it should be used with much older child than 15 months (but yet, it'll always be mine opinion) ☺️ Thank you!

@@LenculkaGD I agree with what you're saying. I personally use RWF with that special mirror so I can see what's going on in the back. But I know that most people just don't bother. They will switch to front-facing as soon as possible and they don't care. Solution where everyone uses RWF would be great in ideal world, but for the real world, also safer front-facing seats are needed. Here's the link to the article, but it's in Czech language (my native), so I'm not sure if you will be able to take something out of it. This is shocking. ERF is proven to be 5x safer than forward facing, and also who wants their child being whacked in the face with an airbag, things known to do damage to adult faces in serious crashes. How does the airbag protect the spine from internal decapitation before the childs spine is fully developed? Will this child therefore be submitted for Swedish Plus Tests to prove the claims (aka sales pitch) made by Cybex? No forward facing seat has ever passed Swedish Plus testing, but if Cybex claim this is a safer option than rear facing for a child over 15 months, then surely they’d have no qualms about submitting for the most rigorous testing?

In a frontal crash, the airbag inflates within milliseconds, acting like a flexible cushion that dampens head and body movement in a similar way to a standard car airbag. Therefore the child's head will come into contact with the airbag, but not with enough force to cause significant injury. The Anoris T i-Size is safer than a conventional forward facing car seat. We took our lead from the automotive industry, which for decades has been using airbags to improve passenger protection during road accidents. We adapted and developed the technology further to protect children's bodies. Through a rigorous development and testing process we created an airbag specifically designed to protect children from older than 15 months up until approx. six years old.

It is unnecessary Alice.... Forward-facing is the natural way to ride, just as it is for adults, too. For children the eye contact with the parent or caregiver is unconstrained, the child has more legroom to grow into, and getting the child onboard and settled is easier. A 2017 TÜV study1 showed that 94% of parents surveyed had placed their child forward facing sooner than recommended. In other words, the industry is committed to rear-facing travel, but parents are not - and they want the comfort and convenience of forward-facing travel as soon as possible. Therefore our goal was to make forward-facing travel as safe as possible. The Anoris T i-Size is the result, using modern airbag technology to allow parents to choose forward-facing travel with peace of mind. * Müller g.; Kühn M.; Karakus B.; Bende J. @@cybexglobal But the safest way to ride is rearward facing, no arguing. Even for adults. There is multiple options for optimal legroom while riding rear facing, like axkid one (with isofix) and maxway plus and axkid minikid (installed with the cars seatbelt). If the eye contact is the problem, then get a mirror? I really can’t see why on earth one should let their kid ride facing forward. There are solutions, if you just look for them and are a little bit creative. My son is three years old and will OFCOURSE ride rearward facing until at least the age of six. For me, my child’s safety comes prior to their comfort (even if he rides very comfortable in his car seat). I’m glad I live in Sweden where it’s easy to let your kids ride the safest way possible

Regarding the Swedish Plus test, the requirements for that test were considered during the development of the seat. Unfortunately, we have no influence on whether or not the Anoris will be selected for this test as it is completely independent, although we sincerely hope that the Anoris is selected for testing. If independent bodies such as the ADAC and Plus do select the seat for testing, they shall make the ratings public and this will prove its safety, but in the meantime, we can confirm that rigorous internal testing in over a thousand tests were conducted. Using our own Sirona series convertible harnessed car seat as a comparison, we established the following: 1.) The Anoris T i-Size (as forward-facing car seat) provides at least equal or mostly better protection than a standard rear-facing car seat in a frontal crash. 2.) The Anoris T i-Size (with impact shield and Airbag technology) has 50% better safety performance than a forward-facing harnessed child seat in a frontal crash.
