Wiesen, Felder, Wälder, Berge und Bäche: Alles, was die Natur hier so zu bieten hat, begegnet dir auf der Tour im Naturpark Rieserferner-Ahrn. Hast du Antholz Niedertal bei geringer Steigung und entlang des Antholzer Baches erstmal erreicht, sind es vor allem die 3.000er der Rieserfernergruppe, die dich erahnen lassen, dass die Strecke ab hier anspruchsvoller und steiler wird. Wenn du mit Kindern unterwegs bist, ist die Fahrt bis zum Fischerteich ideal und ausreichend: Hier könnt ihr angeln, auf dem Spielplatz toben und den daneben liegenden Pumptrack ausprobieren.
Das Dorfzentrum von Welsberg ist Beginn der Radroute Gsiesertal: 340 Höhenmeter durch ein uriges, bäuerlich geprägtes Tal, in dem viel Natur und Kultur zu sehen ist. Die alte Gsieser Straße, größtenteils griffiger Schotter, führt an originellen Bauernhäusern vorbei, durch saftige Wiesen und idyllische Dörfer. Bis St. Martin ist die Steigung relativ gering. Der letzte Anstieg nach St. Magdalena, dem Talschluss, lohnt sich nicht nur für die Aussicht auf die zurückgelegte Strecke: Dort kannst du im Schaubauernhof Reierhof Schweinen, Lamas und Ziegen über die Schulter schauen. Und im Regiohof lokale Köstlichkeiten wie Käse, Honig oder Fruchtaufstriche probieren.
Prati, campi, boschi, montagne e ruscelli: nel tour nel Parco naturale Vedrette di Ries-Aurina la natura ti si mostrerà in tutta la sua spettacolare varietà. Una volta che avrai raggiunto Anterselva di Sotto attraverso una leggera salita e costeggiando il torrente Anterselva, le cime di 3.000 metri delle Vedrette di Ries ti annunceranno come, da qui in poi, il percorso si farà più impegnativo e ripido. Se viaggi in compagnia di bambini, la sosta al laghetto da pesca è davvero ideale: qui potrete pescare, scatenarvi nel parco giochi e sfidarvi nel vicino Pump Track.
Il centro del paese di Monguelfo è l’inizio del tour lungo la ciclabile della Val Casies che, superando 340 metri di dislivello, ti porterà a conoscere una valle dal carattere rurale, in cui trionfano natura e cultura. La vecchia strada della Val Casies, per lo più sterrata, passa accanto a masi tradizionali, attraverso rigogliosi prati e idilliaci paesini. Fino a San Martino la pendenza è relativamente dolce. L’ultima salita, presso Santa Maddalena, nel fondovalle, vale la pena non solo per ciò che puoi ammirare lungo la strada: al maso didattico Reierhof ti aspettano capre, lama e maiali. Al maso Regiohof potrai gustare prelibatezze locali come formaggio, miele e confetture di frutta: una tentazione irresistibile!
Peaks, meadows, forests, and gushing torrents: the detour through the Rieserferner Ahrn Nature Park offers all you might wish for in a picturesque mountain setting. The route along the Antholz torrent leads to the settlement of Antholz Niedertal/Anterselva di Sotto. From this point, the route under the 3,000 m summits of the Rieserferner group becomes steeper and more challenging. Before Antholz Mittertal further on, the main road changes to a rough cycle track leading to the Antholz lake, near the biathlon centre. Families with children can stop at the small pond where there’s fishing, a children’s playground, and a pump track. The bike tour through the Gsiesertal valley starts in the village of Welsberg/Monguelfo where you can marvel at its 11th century castle, perched 340 m above it. Cycle through the untouched nature of the Gsiesertal valley and discover how this area is brimming with history, past ages-old rural homesteads and through lush meadows. The old Gsieser Straße to St. Martin/San Martino mostly runs on a flat gravel road. The last climb in St. Magdalena/Santa Maddalena, nestled in the heart of the valley is worth a visit for many reasons: goats, llamas, and pigs are waiting for you at the Reierhof educational farm and the Regiohof alpine inn offers you local delicacies like cheese, honey and fruit jams .
