Did several of the ronde climbs earlier this month, Koppenberg was by far the hardest, absolute killer.

Hey Cam, If you come to Edinburgh, we have quite a few cobbled streets with one or two cobbled climbs as well. You could almost do a circuit of some of these cobbled streets in one go.

Great effort Cam, we have a cobbled climb where I live called thwaites brow, with hairpin bends. It’s average is about 10% with some 20% sections and it feels nasty, so although I know the feeling of climbing on cobbles, the Koppenberg must be horrendous

I rode up there a few ago, after a 70km ride. I was laying down on my bars and still did wheelies. The climb is not about super big power, but about being able to ride up there by pure good bike handling

Hey cam, im going to flanders in a few weeks for the first time. I was wondering what would be better bike choice, roadie with 28mm or cx with 32mm tyres.

28mm is enough. The cobbles in flanders aren't that bad, and there aren't that many cobbles either

You can beat it. Just work on your 2 minute effort. Can you do 750 watts for 2 minutes? Than you got it. I follow all the pros on Strava and I know exactly what you're talking about. I see some crazy numbers some of them are off.

4 mins 37 for the Koppenberg. Albeit 350km into a 500km day and right after the Paterberg....yes, showing off a little but I hated every single cobble I rode on. They're not fun or clever in any way. Horrible
