Cycling the Mawddach Estuary from Barmouth to Dollgellau.

The Slaws are back in Barmouth in their Hobby motorhome Helga ‪@HobbyCaravan‬ with their two Lhasa Apso dogs Billy and Jessie.
They are staying at Hendre Mynach campsite and have their Kampa Motor Rally Air Pro 330 awning up.
Today they cycle 22 miles on their Raleigh Array e-bikes along the stunning Mawddach Estuary past the George III at Penmaenpool to Dollgellau, before heading back to the George for a pizza and a pint!
Billy and Jessie travel in style in their Trixie dog trailer; affectionately named 'The Happy Trailer' as everyone they pass smiles and laughs at the stars of the show!
The Slaws finish the day with an ice cream from Knickerbockers and a glorious sunset.

Hi There Mrs Slaw and Slaw and Doggies , Supreme video of your Barmouth to Dollgellau , Your Dogs Look so Happy in there own set of wheels , Super scenery , your Doggies Have fans ,i had to play back the part when in there Trailer a few times as its wide open eyes and ears full forward from our dogs , Good bit of Humor ,well Thanks for Sharing , Take care All.🌞☀🌞👍👍👍👍👍

We didn’t realised we’d missed this! Watched the other Barmouth one! We do love a bit of Barmouth! Oo those sausages looked good! Stunning bike ride. What views!! Excellent pronunciation of Dolgellau. Ah guys, thanks so much for the shout out!! So kind! Every time we pass the George we think of you two!! That pizza looks lush! Amazing drone shot of the old toll bridge - put that for sale on stock video sites! Oo and icecream to finish. Top day! Please tell me you found that mic! That was great guys! Loved it 🍻

We did that cycle the estuary was lovely and stopping on the bridge to watch the trains going by was brill. Great campsite, great video guys, the dogs crack us up in their chariot ! Cheers 🍻 from Glencoe ❤

My son and I did that ride from the campsite in early December, blinking cold but equally beautiful on that day too. There's a great bakery in the centre of Dolgellau, highly recommended.

Hello Slaw & Mrs Slaw, great vid great scenery & beautiful place BUT! HELP! We’re also wanting to add a doggy trailer to our E bikes for more travelling adventures in Marcel, with our woofer Harry but our axle is to large for trailer attachment! How did you get on with yours? I feel a doggy trailer video coming up…😄x

Hi Susan, thanks very much for watching! Our dog trailer is a Trixie and we got it from Amazon. It fits our Raleigh Array Ebikes with no problems. Slaw says ‘how big are your bikes?’😱😜

Thanks for replying, tell Slaw our e bikes are of a normal size for normal sized people! 😮 Volt Pulse e-bikes but …… due to back wheel large motor axle is 12ml rather than normal 10ml but we’ve now found we can drill out hole to make it fit, we did look at Trixie, also pawhut, what made you pick Trixie? The things we do for our doggies 3 aye!! 😅

@@susanlynnrook9383 we chose our model because of the spec. Size, weight etc. It also looks very similar to our old Doggyhut trailer (although we’re pretty sure that was a fake) and we have dragged that all across Europe with no problems 👍🏻

Hi Claudie! The dogs are secured with straps. Yes, it’s Jessie who hogs the front. Thank you, Mrs Slaw has naturally curly hair, but likes to tame it 😜

Great vlog as always. We did the same last summer. A few questions on the Dog Trailer. Make? ease of use? would you recomend? We bought one but sent it back as it was too big for our Cocker Spaniel. Any thoughts welcomed. Loo=ing forward to the next edition

Hi Andrew, thanks very much for watching! Our trailer is a Trixie and we got it from Amazon. Previously we had a Doggyhut that we bought new from EBay. We’re convinced it was a fake, but we dragged it all over the UK and Europe over 10 years with no problems 👍🏻 This one is very similar to the old one. We would deffo recommend it and you’ve seen how easy it is to put up and much Billy and Jessie love travelling in it ❤️
