Thank you. I love it. I'm a 60+ year old returning to drumming and Gene Krupa was a big influence as I was starting as a 5th grader. I can't wait for the remainder of the series.

Man, those old clips from your late 80s/early 90s promo VHS take me back. I wore that tape out when I was just getting started on the drums. Omar Hakim and that bass player just grooving the whole time. Memories...

Zildjian: I would love to find a splash that sounds like Buddy Rich was using in his latter years. I have looked all over for years and haven't found anything close to it. Is there anything in your current product line that even comes close?

Funny but I always found that plastic (or nylon) tipped sticks bring out the best sound from a ride cymbal.

Very intersting ! But, we must say ,me and many friends French drummers, that we are disappointed with Zildjian cymbals production that we can find since about 2002's year, in France ! They are often not good. Acid sound and reduced frequencies... Despite, sometimes, in some first runs, we can find some exceptional sounding cymbals, but it is very rare. Generally since near 20 years, they are not at our taste at all.... When I need some new great cymbals, I'm looking for K or A from 80's and 90's, when they were made more by hands on Zildjian factorys.... If Zildjian could made the cymbals like in the 80's or 90's, they will have more success than now...(I m a passionate for Zildjian cymbals maker, history and bought many K and A from 20's to actual times. I can tell that all the 10 years, Zildjian has changed his fabrication...) Hope Zildjian will be back one day with great sounding cymbals !
