For me, Cyndi Lauper is one of the best live performers of all time. Her voice is clearly powerful (and strong with time). It's so rare to see a performer who can sing like her. Time can do no harm to her innovative voice, she is simply wonderful. Love her, love her, love her.

Men you are not alone. Knew the melody for having eared it don’t know where. Just saw the marriage of Boots and Seely on tv😊. Asked myself who is she? I know the song, was a little emotionally touched, to my surprise for a song in a tv show. Had to look the internet and found it was Cyndi Lauper. My god she sings profoundly well, not shouting.

From my experience, the under-rated ones are often the best. Her vocals are second to none! As far as her overall style... she is pure talent witith some edge, rock, and quirk mixed with genuine class and vocal talent.

Madonna debuted the same year I believe. Whitney a few years later. Heavy competition in the 80s. She continues to SHINE and I see her everytime she's within travel distance to Philly💕

I feel so sad because Cyndi Lauper never comes to Hong Kong. I'm a local hongkonger and have been listening to her since 7. My mom plays only the best songs and music at our home

The whole performance of ... At last is thought, at least for me, to be the best ever recorded. The strict and ascetic decoration, the light, musicians and audience wrap and amplify in the same time the beauty of Cyndi's look and voice. Her skill of live singing is superb, her behaviour on the scene is mesmerizing. For me, history of live music has two icon events: Nirvana's mtv unplugged and Cyndi's ...At last.

I attended this performance at Town Hall and it was brilliant. I’ve seen her in concert many times and this was by far her best. Of course, most performers give a lot extra when it’s being filmed. I saw this same show in NJ I believe and was great but missing the wow factors and high notes of this NYC show. I Drove All Night was a personal favorite at this show as she showed off her 9 octave range at the end…

I have absolutely loved Cyndy lauper since the 1st time I ever heard her voice in either 84 or 85 I was 7 or 8 and fell in love ! I mean Whitney Houston is my all time favorite singer BUT Cyndi lauper is up there in my top 10 she is such a powerful singer and so underrated When everybody was going bananas over Madonna I was going bananas over Cyndy She is a phenomenal singer song writer actress everything!!
