Wallace Shawn did the translation. I saw it twice when I was still in high school, and recorded the entire audio the second time. I used to listen to it all the time. Such a fantastic and challenging production, it was way underrated. Thank you for uploading this

And a crowd had gathered 'round her, Mackie there with all the rest. Then in Soho, there was arson. Seven children, one old man. As the fire blazed, Mac he watched it No one knows how it began. God, it's funny how so many Wealthy men have died this year. They say someone has their money, Who's that someone? He's (???) here. I mean Alfonse, you know (???) Have you seen him since last week? Someone's pulling this metroplis He's some king of (???) And that young child. That sweet widow. While she slept she felt a blow, When she woke he was inside her Mac, what drives you? Do you know?

The Roundabout only has a certain amount of money for the shows they do each year.The same year T.P.O. was up they also did the Pajama Game,it got the Cast album,unfortunatly.BUT we have this so thank Lightning!

What little is shown, Cyndi Lauper is fine; but the REST is a sad, amateurish--no, it is a Senior High School level production done by people whom seem to have never listened to the Original Cast Recording, nor to Lotte Lenya, nor read of the Time Span in History that it deals with. The Audience should hold its applause 'til the Ending number, when this Travesty of butchering the Beat, the Tempo of Weil Masterpiece is OVER.....Somebody, CALL 'Mecky Messer, please'. P.S. the ending is 'Mecky, what's your price>
