The ‘prayer’ part is because Cynthia is British and they mostly pronounce the word something like pray-a while Americans pronounce like pray-r. They don’t really enunciate the ending ‘r’ in words like the Americans do. Cynthia is a good crossover artist as regards the American accent but this is a case of the ‘L1’ forever seeping through every now and then. On the whole both you and the artiste are great singers. Just said I should add this little piece.
