The Album was a 2-Disk Release. The first Album was basically all Rap like traditional Cypress Hill, but the second one was actually inspired with Rock and hip hop. So he decided to make a second version of the song for the second album. Rock was becoming rather massive at the time and this is his way to show propes to other genres of music that Cypress like

9/26/22, another old white guy, raised on Top 40, Cream and Led Zep. Needless to say, I am......outside the rap/hip-hop demographic. Bloody hell, Rock Superstar is genius, a masterpiece. What nails it for me is the bass line (sounds like cello to me) that moves around like a stalking wolf.....relentless and powerful, the whole time giving a foundation for the song's message (at least what it seems to be to an old white guy) against, and indictment of, something very corrupt. Sure as hell it's on my playlist...
