He has total mastery over technique, and tastefully brings out other melodic lines, which most pianists overlook.

His performance of Rachmaninoff No 3, is the most exciting and interesting performance of this exciting concerto recorded to date. It should be studied very carefully by any pianist who wants to discover a treasure of musical ideas. Thank you Mr. Katsaris for the gifts you have and continue to share with us. May you live 100+ years.

Stupendous. Unbelievable technique with bravura and elegance in equal measures.

@@themoroccanpianist8953 Oui bien sur ! C'est Robert Schumann qui l'a dit après avoir écouté un concert du jeune Chopin.

CK's performance is the Romantic Art-Music itself. Chopin's vision is clearly, beautifully delineated.. #allsystemAreGo! Thank you for sharing this with your public.

Watching this, it sounds sublime. Only listening to it, it sounds just good. Strange... Interesting performance, nevertheless. [0:00] I. Allegro maestoso [12:34] II. Scherzo (Molto vivace) [15:18] III. Largo - [24:25] IV. Finale (Presto ma non tanto)

Elegant pianism, despite the occasional odd irregularities with tempo. His fingers are fabulous... 2nd movement is my favorite 👌🏻

His Sony recording of the Chopin sonatas is a marvel. What Katsaris does with inner voices and harmonies needs to be heard to be believed. Lovely as this performance is, the Sony recital is better. Why? Because in the studio, Katsaris takes more chances, more liberties with the sonatas--- and this is what them truly incredible.

Too many rhythmic distortions and pedal irregularities for my taste. His own personal entricities do a lot "melodic line" distortions and strange manipulations. He holds back and then speeds forward particularly obvious in the final movement.

That's called Rubato to add flavor to a beautiful interpretation of Chopin.
