Found the Best Hotel and Location in Tokyo, Japan - Hotel Indigo Shibuya

For my second visit to Tokyo, we chose Hotel Indigo in Shibuya. We booked the Scramble View, High Floor room, which offered a fantastic view of the iconic crosswalk right from our window - a truly cool experience! The hotel's location was incredibly convenient, with most of the places on my list, such as Flippers Pancakes, Pokemon, the Nintendo store, Shibuya 109, and the Mega Don Quixote, all within a short walking distance. When I say walking distance, I mean it - most places were less than a 10-minute walk away.

Not every guest are lucky like you getting a high floor viewing of the Tokyo skyline. Some may ended up in a lower floor.

I love the crow so friendly I stayed in Shinjuku and there was a crow outside window looking for food

Crows are supposed to be very smart birds. This one was so used to people. So cute!

Hotel prices vary from month to month. I would check their website for deal or Expedia. I like that hotel, I'd use it again for sure. Location is unbeatable.

Stayed here for the entire 10 days I was in Japan. It was great. Close to everything!

Hi, I'm very interested to stay in this hotel but seems like I will have to walk quite a bit to the nearest train station all the time I want to explore the city. Was it the case for you? Or is there a way to travel easily to and from the hotel?

It's very close to a subway exit. There's a mall that's 2 minute walk called Shibuya 109 with a subway exit. The hotel is close to most major lines, even JR line. JR line is maybe an 8 minute walk. But the walk doesn't seem far because you pass by so many malls, stores and even the the famous Scramble which is super cool! Most you'd walk is 10 min from subway and I'm a slow walker.

Most Japan hotel rooms are small. Especially in a good location near a subway. Luggage wise, we had 3 roller bags, 3 backpacks, large duffle and another large square bag we bought in Don Quixote which is across the street. We still had room to walk and didn't feel cramped. But set your expectations. It's my second time in Tokyo, and this hotel offers rooms larger than most hotels. Last time we stayed in Roppongi Candeo Hotel. Now that was so small and we got the biggest room available there. If you go to Asakusa, they have hotels with bigger rooms, around 500 sqft. But it's so far from the subway (maybe 30 min walk), and you'll have to commute most tourist locations. You'll have to see the pros and cons.
