This video is an in depth review of the 2021 Cyrusher XF900, a motorcycle inspired, full suspension fat tire ebike. This bike has a 48volt 17.5ah battery, 750watt hub motor with peak output of 1500watts, full hydraulic brakes, and both front and rear suspension. To learn even more about the XF900 and see complete detailed specifications and purchase options, please visit the Cyrusher website at:

Great review! Another fat tire beast of a bike! I agree that 21 gears are unnecessary, most e-bikes have 7 to 9 gears which is adequate. However, one could remove the battery and use it as a regular 21 gear fat bike for a really good workout! I enjoy your reviews, keep up the good work!

Neat bike, but even better review. I appreciate your consistency for your bike reviews. I bought the KBO Breeze. Not my first choice, (I really wanted the Himiway) but they raised their prices to $1600 so I grabbed a bright orange Breeze (in stock) for $1350. It's a solid ride, no complaints. I wanted the step-thru but it was backordered so I got the regular. I got it in a week. I didn't have too much problems with the front fender, took a couple efforts to get it right, but in the end , good to go. I personally like how it hugs the tire. Looking forward to many more videos!

Been watching your channel for a while. Good stuff. But I soon realized the new out the box E-Bikes was out my price range . So I made my own E- Bike from an old Mountain Bike I had for over 20 years. It took me a while but I did it. E-Bikes are GREAT.

It seems like they make all the cool stuff for taller people. I'm 5'5" and bought a Rad Rover 5 and while it's a blast to ride I have trouble reaching the ground with my 29" inseam length. I did put in my order for the Friend v1.5 20" folding bike that should fit me a lot better when it arrives sometime in June. Maybe I will gift the Rover to my dad for Fathers day if he likes it.

I know this video is older, but this bike from cyrusher now comes with 7 speeds and front oil suspension forks, which I think is much better, I do wish they would update the screen.though, it may be a dealbreaker for me. Thanks for the great videos

I bought the xf800 over the xf900 after watching your review. I thought you covered all the bases and prior to purchasing asked cryusher what bike I should buy after telling them what i was looking for. Nobody answered even though they answered my other questios about a bike for my wife. I bought my wife the xf200 stepthrough. I got my xf800 first and after putting together and battery charged took it for ride. I live on a steep escarpment between two hills. I'm 64 and have neck and low back injuries from work. I rode bikes my entire life and these hills never stopped me! But thought I could use some help now. I rode up the hill using the 7 gears only and made it but legs were tired. Next time up I used only motor and bike climbed it with no issues. Next time up I used pedal assist and worked flawlessly! The isssue was once on top and flat land I ran out of gears quickly. Using pedal assist was like pedalling with chain off as I might as well had a moped! I still have the leg power so really could have used the xf900 21 gears. But Cryusher doesn't allow returns once box is opened, and especially not after bike is ridden. So the 30 day return is only for defective bikes! The xf800 is awesome but if you are going to do any serious riding get the xf900. Also I replaced the handleb a riser with an adjustable riser so I could ride more upright when needed along with a wider seat. Seriously thinking of making my old 21 speed bike into an ebike!

Counterclockwise on the rebound will soften it up and I would get a suspension air pump and run about 100psi at your weight. I like the gears to be honest. Yes on pavement you only need a few but for steeper off-road climbs you will use more.

At about 22:30-32 You hit the front brake and it buzzed (I assume that was the brake). My RR did that too and I had adjusted the front caliper and now I have too much pull when I use the front brake. Is that buzz normal? And I am wondering if I have to adjust the front brake cable to reduce the amount of pull I have to do to activate the front brake. Disk brakes are new to me so, I feel I am running blind here.

Craig how are you with bike building and bike maintenance ? these bikes cant be serviced in a UK retailer as none of them will touch it. I had the old gen xf800 so unless you are ok with assembling and maintenance you are better going with a UK branded ebike. Not to mention these are not road legal either as they use bafang which assist above 15 mph which is the uk legal limit plus they have a throttle, again not legal in the UK (assuming you are in the UK of course)
@beardedcatman
@beardedcatman 3 жыл бұрын
If you've been saving, you may already have enough.. This bike isn't exclusive to this brand. This bike exists on the "Ali" type websites for literally up to $1k LESS than this "brand" charges. This brand is simply a middle-man who purchases the bikes in bulk and slaps a sticker with their "name" on it. More detailed explanation here : kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jtRdZttl3NKthnU.html.

@@beardedcatman great comment and so true. most of these bikes look cheap from a distance. I have 2 electric bikes. one bought cheaply from a Chinese website. it was cheap and I needed to replace some of the components to make it usable and one was pretty expensive but when you touch, ride and look on this bike you know it will last and all components - gears, engine, battery, breaks etc are well-known brands

I just got my Xf900. 1. I chatted online for the Wheel Size as it relates to MPH. Note the rim is not the wheel size! So, it is not 26". Cyrusher told me to set it to 29.2. Considering the tire hight is just less than 2 inches which would be 26+2+2 = 30", It sounds right. You might want to re-try you speed. 2. Despite setting P10 to "1" - throttle only - I am still getting pedal assist like "2". 0 worked for PAS only. Any ideas?

That's a tough one but here's what I can tell you. The 800 is lighter weight, has more flex in the suspension, has a more stretched out riding position, and the throttle is very strong the pedal assist seems weaker. The 900 suspension is very stiff, it has a more upright seating position, and the pedal assist feels stronger than the throttle does. I'm trying to do a comparison video of all the Cyrusher bikes in the near future 🙂

For to kind of money, they need to integrate a tail light. I agree the 21 speed is over kill for a heavy eBike. I would like to see a little more sweep back on the handlebars. Do you have any idea why most eBikes have rear hub motors instead of a middle crank motor? I think the low center of gravity for a eBike is more stable, but that’s just me. Great video thanks. Just don't care for the highest gear, which is way too low. A 42t chain ring to a 14t? Why do they do this on a bike with that power. They give you 21 gears, most of which you'll never use because they're so insanely low including the highest gear which is to low. You have to spin your legs off to barely hit 28mph. Needs a 48t to 11t imo. Nice bike otherwise!

Don't do it. You will hate this bike. It needs to have a throttle that works independently from the pas. Instead it is connected to the power assist so that the throttle will not work alone, you have to peddle. But there are many hilly situations where you need instantly, but it won't. Many problems with it. I got caught in a rain storm, nothing major, but it absolutely destroyed the display and the throttle. As for support, every question takes 24 hours to get a reply which is very frustrating if it is a complex issue. As for the warranty and the motto of ...we got your back...no, not true. All support or warranty is just emails. You have to rebuild and replace everything on your own. So my bike failed 8 days after purchase. I spent 9 w e eks sending pictures and test everything they asked me to do. It all fails and guess what, no warranty....expired. Cheap parts that can't stand the elements, very limited help. Above all the pas system and throttle will not work. Basically a very poor system. Sorry if you bought this junk...

Are you really a cyclist? I mean the cross chaining going in here, and stance? It's short and looks it, meaning it isn't stable at speed and coupled with that is has a steep head angle making it less stable too.

I don't like the looks with the massive forks. It looks live a cheap mountain bike for kids, the kind they sell at Walmart. The fenders look shitty, The battery just hangs there, sticks out too much. For that kind of money it's a cheap peace of crap.
