Nasreen Munni Kabir is brilliant and quite erudite. I'd go so far as to consider her a film scholar, would love to hear her again. Her knowledge of film is vast not and not only from her youth but also today, not to mention her knowledge base is so vast that it even extends to outside India. I could listen to her all day.

it was such a wholesome and pleasant episode. only possible with an person who is very *honest* , *loves their work* , and very sweet . im in love with "munni" ma'am. thank you cyrus and team. for introducing us with personality, we should know before we die. who would've thunk, we've got "javed akhter" of subtitles, too. ❤

39:12 another example why Guru Dutt songs felt integrated with the story: Jaane wo kaise log the jinke pyaar ku pyaar mila from Pyaasa. No initial music, the song directly starts from the lyrics.

Brilliant guest, how insightful and poised. She'd write on Amitabh Bacchan and Dharmendra next. They are the last of superstar eras which made an impact on masses and saw the transition across eras. Yes, Waheeda Rehman, Zeenat Aman, Vikrant Masey, Shahid Kapur, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher would be some interesting guests too. And Special shout out to Cyrus to call out the bigotry on Happy Birthday wishes hoardings...I can't hate them enough and all the glossed over pics of top loosers

Nasreen Munni is an infinite resource of not just knowledge of cinema but speaks so eloquently and with such sequence and relevence that it's actually stunning. She hasn’t watched Tarantino movies 🤷‍♂️ perhaps - referring to her mentioning Tom Cruise - Mission Impossible. Who needs west to downgrade India 🇮🇳 and Indianness when we have Cyrus 🤷‍♂️ #justsaying Love certain bits of your interviews and guests you invite though hence I keep coming back Can you please share a link to all those interviews/documentaries she has done in the past?
