I was diagnosed with cancer last November. I've had 8 treatments of chemo and a huge surgery. I called cancerfonden for help and they were useless. I was extremely disappointed as in the UK/Ireland there's endless support. Cancerfonden basically told me to talk to my kontakt nurse and ASIH.

What kind of help did you ask for? And have you received it yet?

@@bulkathos5207 I wanted one person, like a citizens advice advocate or a social worker to sit me down and tell me what is available. Medically, socially, financially in regards to my job and my illness. And as a tax payer what benefits are available to me as I could no longer work....I was very disappointed..

@@bulkathos5207 and no i haven't received any help but from FKASSAN because I'm employed. I was diagnosed last November and was told I may die...Less than a year later I've had 8 rounds of chemo, lost 20 kilos, had half my stomach removed and spent a month in the hospital, intensive and regular ward. And now I'm expected to go back to work 25percent and I promise I am not there yet.. I feel the cancer may have come back...It's crazy...90 days ago I was fighting a killing illness..
