Great video! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I am a huge fan of the CZ P10 series. I own a F (19+1), a C tactical suppressor-ready (17+1), both in 9mm, and a P10 F 45 auto (13+1). They are totally reliable, very accurate, witty amazing smooth trigger pulls, and great ergonomics.

Thanks for the great review. The information your share about the CZ P10 platform is very helpful. I just got my P10F, and when I field stripped it for inspection, and found that it already had some discoloration on the feed ramp of the barrel. Did your gun show similar wear marks when it was new or now after you have put many rounds through it?
@practicalshooter6517
@practicalshooter6517 4 жыл бұрын
Yes Rey, my P10F also showed very slight wear on the feed ramp and also on the top part of the barrel. This is due to factory testing. Nothing to worry about, and in the contrary, it is a very good thing, as CZ would be more likely to discover any early malfunctions during that testing of all their guns before leaving the factory. Happy shooting

@practicalshooter6517
@practicalshooter6517 3 жыл бұрын
Everything you are listing are very good on both handguns. But the quality is where those 2 guns are different. Fit and finish is superior on CZ's guns. Canik guns are my favorite for mid tier guns, but CZ's are my favorite for higher end guns. They are in an other class, as they are over all even better than Glock's in many ways. CZ are considered to be top tiers manufacturer, and so demand a slightly higher price, but is very much worth it.

It all depends if you prefer hammer fired or striker fired. I personally prefer hammer fired handguns in general, BUT I am trying to push myself to appreciate striker fired handguns due to their engineering simplicity and maintenance. It is after all a very personal choice for 2 different architecture. I suggest you too invest into a P10F, handle it and shoot it as much as you can, and make up your own choice for your own needs. Happy shooting Marlon

Practical Shooter - I agree, I love my hammer fired pistols. Started many years ago with a 1911-a1, of which in later years enjoyed years of 1911 Colt Gold Cup and bowling pin competitions. Now it’s with Shadow 2 and USPSA competitions, but as I age and arthritis is making some manipulations sloppy, difficult and unsafe, I hoped the P10c could/would be the answer. LOL, Well the P10C had a terrible mag release, and a few other issues I had to sort out. It’s trigger is great, it scores very close and some even better in competition to the Shadow 2, but it is just not as buttery smooth as the Shadow. P10 needs more weight. In practice I add my largest weapon light @ 4.6 oz and it helps my cadence slightly but it is still not close to S2. Oh, and finding a holster for a P10 with WL. Impossible, Haha. Just my 2 cents.

How is the accuracy on a paper target at 30 feet ? I would buy the adjustable rear sight for around $118 from Zendl.
@practicalshooter6517
@practicalshooter6517 4 жыл бұрын
First off, all new manufactured guns are all very accurate, due to very precise modern CNC machining, even your $150 gun is very accurate, what makes the difference between all guns are your personal fit to a particular gun, and the trigger. A rougher trigger will make you less accurate (cheaper guns). So all being equal, the P10F is very accurate, and has a very good trigger, plus it has the ability to fit many hands. Concerning the sights, a fully adjustable sight will give you a perfect hit of the bullet where you want it to be, ex. at 12 o'clock or 6 o'clock or perfectly centered if your gun shoots a little bit on the side. It also gives you adjustments needed if you decide to switch ammo, like going from 115gr to 124gr to 147gr, or change your powder weight, if you reload. So an adjustable sight is very versatile and will always be on target for your needs. Hope this helped Dave, and happy shooting.

Great holsters; takes some time to break break them in, but well worth the effort. I used the plastic bag method with conditioner to get the fit I desired. Removing the firing pin safety block is dangerous and useless for accuracy. A little grittiness doesn't matter. As long as that front sight is completely still when depressing the trigger, why make the pistol less drop safe?
@practicalshooter6517
@practicalshooter6517 4 жыл бұрын
Tell everyone who is using one of the thousand handguns made without safety blocks if it is dangerous. It is only an added safety, but very safe to use without it. In competition, any ways to smooth out an action by removing all grittiness is added precision. But if it makes you happy to patronize people without knowing too much about handguns, go for it, my channel is all yours.

I had exactly the same problem with my CZ P-10 F (the pistol used to shoot a bit too low) and so I replaced it with exactly the same front sight as yours. Is it possible that this defect is usual in these pistols?
@practicalshooter6517
@practicalshooter6517 4 жыл бұрын
I don't think it is the gun per say, but one of two reasons. The first one might be because the gun is so light that pulling on the trigger is jerking the gun down a bit. A very common issue with shooters, that is over comed with LOTS of shooting, or it is sighted in at the factory for a longer distance. In that latter case, the bullet will shoot low before going up, for a perfect accuracy at a longer distance. I personally didn't mess finding out, and made the mechanical correction by replacing the front sight. It now shoots fine for me. It's kind of cheating :)

@practicalshooter6517
@practicalshooter6517 4 жыл бұрын
@@lo691 Salut Antoine. No on the mags, and yes on the slide release. For the later I have found 3 solutions. 1) dealing with it by sliding the slide back while pushing the slide release down. Not my favorite option, but it's easy and makes me practice on that particular move. 2) smoothing out the slide release arm contact to the slide, and doing so will reduce it's resistance with the slide. I haven't worked on that option, yet, as not being a priority right now. 3) my slide do release on its own during magazine insertion, so this has resolved some of that problem lol. Let me know what you are doing about it. A+
