I used to design and bead jewelry but after my daughter died five years ago all of my hobbies died with her. Your work is so beautiful and inspiring that I keep watching it over and over again, hoping that some day I will pick up a needle, thread and a few beads and it will come back to me. Until then I'll keep watching your wonderful videos. Thank you for sharing your gift with us all.

+AvieMare I'm so sorry I haven't answer earlier, I've just seen your post. I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope you will bead again, one, not so far away, day... I know this may sound like a cliché, but I really do not think that your doughter, whom, I imagine, loved you very much, would have wanted you to stop doing what makes you happy... I'm sending you the biggest hug on the Planet! Szidonia :-)

+AvieMare Hello to you... I read your post and am so sorry about your daughter passing. I lost my son in 2008 and lost five years of my life can't remember much of those lost years. Sidonia's patterns are so beautiful and her tutorials are easy to follow. My therapy was painting (watercolors) and beading! I finally woke up after 5 years by doing what I used to love doing. I believe along with the help from God and my busy hands I have been healing. Losing a child is the worst thing I ever went through and there is nothing that can be said to you to make it better. Much love and prayers sent with this message. Kathy

Sidonia's Handmade Jewelry I love your work but find it hard to follow because you don’t let us know what side of the petals you are going through. I have tried to follow but I need more information. I guess I am giving up. I will try another pattern. This is truely a beautiful bracelet I think you are very talented. Love your work but sometimes when you are working your work is not on the screen. It makes it difficult to see where you are.

I was widowed almost 12 years ago and it was then I began to bead. It was how I dealt with my grief. I would spend my time beading and thinking about my husband all the while and put my love for him into each piece I created. I hope you can bead again some day and share your love for your daughter in each one of your creations too.

I must say, this is a beautifully designed bracelet and your tutorial on it was the most interesting and easy to follow of any I've seen yet. I am a beginner (only made a pair of earrings, but it was fun and they turned out nice) but I can see myself making this. I'm also from the USA and I thank you for your tutorials and I want to thank your viewers for their communication with each other on the whereabouts they have been able to find the beads. Thanks again everyone.

Hi Sidonia, I love this design (and all of the others too). Had some 8mm chatons and was just waiting for the right design. I also tried to replace the chaton with a 6mm pearl and instead of adding 4 15/o's I added 2x11/0's. Looks stunning both ways. Also managed to change the font of my writing, don't know how :-) Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Hi Sidonia, love your tutorials, you always make such beautiful pieces. I have a question, I'm a little lost with the petal beads and how you string them on. After the first two, how do you pick up the petal beads, from the front, or the back ?

I love all your tutorials. This one did not quiet work out for me. I'm using what you list, exact sizes beads etc and the "basket" holding the chaton comes out way to loose. My tension is good, I'm not a loose tension beader. The basket is big enough to handle a 10mm rivoli easily. I ended up using E6000 to affix the chaton but it does not look right. Otherwise it's beautiful

Mine too :( I came to the comments to see if anyone else had the same problem, and your comment about the e6000 really helped me! Thank you! I love this bracelet though, it's so pretty. Gonna finish the rest of the elements and put it together, can't wait for that :) Happy beading!

I just finished my bracelet, and I found that adding three 15s instead of four on the top, where you pull your encasement together, helped alot. If you don't like the space between the edges there you can always go back and add the last 15s between after you have tightened and secured the chaton .

Since you are so lovely to share your fabulous tutorials, I will tell you a bit of useful info. On your petals, the indented side is called concave and the back is the reverse which is convex in English. I do not suppose to really teach you anything. You already speak a foreign language which I cannot say for myself. But I hope I have given you back a little for all you give.

Hi Sidonia, I am so in love with this bracelet. It is so beautiful and perfect for Spring. I have a question. I don't have any petal beads and I need to buy some. What I need to know is I see the bracelet you make has 6 flower petal components. What size is your bracelet with the 6 flower components. I just need to know how many petals I need to buy to make a bracelet. I think I were a 7" or 7 1/2 " bracelet. Thank you so much.

Chevy Matthews Hi Chevy and thank you very much, I'm so glad you like my bracelet! :-) The one I made is 6 inches long, without the clasp. I guess you'll need to make one more flower to make it the lenght you need. For seven flowers you will need 42 petals. Where I buy them they sell them in bags of 50 pcs, so one bag would be more than enough. :-)

Chevy Matthews Hello Chevy, Ebay has some excellent prices for Czech rose petal beads. The best price I could find was from $2.40 to $2.80 for 25 petal beads + free shipping with a seller named ( clbeads) and they have high end colors to choose from!!~~

Vanessa Von Littel thanks for your help. That is exactly were I bought my rose petal beads. The reason I chose that seller is because they have free shipping. The color I chose is Halo Madder Rose. It is so hard to chose colors. I really didn't know what color to get. I'm hoping my bracelet turns out as beautiful as Sidonia's did. Thank you so much Sidonia for getting back to me so fast. I really appreciate it . Thanks again guys. Now it's time to get started making this beautiful bracelet.

They couldn't, because of the different position of the hole. But, another bead with the hole positioned the same way would be the lentil, you might want to try them.

dear sidonia, how can i make a necklace with these flowers? Do u sell a pattern?
@Sidoniasbeadedjewelry
@Sidoniasbeadedjewelry 7 жыл бұрын
Dear Roula, I don't have a pattern for making a necklace, only the bracelet, but you should be able to make it anyway. The only thing you should change are the connecting points of the flowers: instead of connecting them to form a staight line, figure out hot connect them to form a circular shape. To do that, make a number of flowers you think you'd need for a necklace and then place them on a plain surface, upside down and forming a 5/6 circle (an almost complete circle). Than try to figure out how to connect them in order to maintain that round shape. I hope this helps!
