Im always looking forward to your reactions on Gigi Vibes. You're probably going to notice that this video is slightly edited. The band actually has a pinned post on the video saying they remastered this bc they made some mistakes. It was a request from the viewers & it was the 1st time they played this song together. If u want to see the unedited video from the livestream, it's on Tri Tune GEE channel, the one from 2 yrs ago, shes wearing same black shirt. She forgets to enter on the verses 2x, & the musicians make a few errors too, & they laugh! That's how they do their livestreams, just very relaxed & chill. Just wanted to comment on this bc theres some Gigi bashers always trolling Gigi's reaction videos lol! Theyre obsessed with her & Im sure they will have something to say haha! U know who u are 😉. For u who don't know, Tri Tune Gee is one of their channels too. CZ, hope u can react to their Bloopers. it's on their main channel. Theres LAZY SONG by Bruno Mars (this has 5 million views lol), & maybe combine it with another short blooper (2 min) of ETERNAL FLAME PHLEGM by The Bangles. So funny but still sounding very good! I want u & your friends to get the feel of their livestreams. That's the reason why they have 2.17 million subs, not just bc they're talented, but bc they are so relatable. It's the connection they have with their audience.

She sounded funny in the edited parts. Her natural voice is supreme, especially in her stage performances, so it doesn't make sense that the sound engineer would even mess with her voice.

Filipinos love ballads and sentimental songs. Gigi's repertoire is the quintessential song list if you want to become a powerhouse vocalist in the Philippines. That's a Natalie Cole sentimental ballad.

It's amazing how you catch all of those "editing tricks" that the video has. You're so spot on to say that Gigi is so good she doesn't need any of those edits. In this 1989 song, originally by Natalie Cole, Gigi definitely doesn't need any help from any editing tricks....let's face it, she doesn't need help in many of the songs and genres she picks. In this song, she looks so relaxed and not even exerting much effort, still sounded awesome, as Gigi always have. Always love your tech analysis, amazed at your ability to catch the edits! Great RV, as always!

I wrote a comment about this here in the comments section. The band pinned a post on the original video saying they did edit it. Yes, ALL I ASK pls! Actually this Miss You Like Crazy is a difficult song bc of thr high notes. The thing is, Gigi makes it look so easy. A unique technique that she does is that she can maintain the same tone/placement from low to high. She can do different placements too, but for this one, she chose to keep it the same. It's a rare quality among singers. Most singers will sing this shifting from pure chest to mix chest, to light mix, to headtone, to falsetto. Even Natalie Cole who sang this originally, shifts placement throughout the song. Gigi did this chest from low to high. It's a stylistic choice & both styles sound good. This is not a who is better, I don't do stuff like that. Just pointing out the differences in technique.

It is edited. There is a pinned post in the Gigi Vibes video, they did state that they edited it. It was a song request & it was the 1st time they played it together, so there were mistakes. The un-edited version is in Tri Tune Gee, their other channel. They were laughing bc they were making mistakes. Love their livestreams ❤. Unfortunately they're too bz now & are not doing this anymore, but also glad they are bz with many gigs. I wrote something in the comment section here explaining this.

Gigi is amazing and so is the band. There's heavy tuning on all their stuff. Especially the songs that are very unrehearsed requests from their live streams. It is strange to me you still don't really understand when you are watching the unrehearsed songs from the live streams and when you are watching the really well rehearsed songs. You can compare the tuned versions to the untouched versions you often can find online also. It's like night and day. I am surprised you are reacting like this on this one random video when you have missed it on the others? It would be interesting hearing why? I don't think it is that much more obvious on this one. Gigi and the band are not alone in doing this, it is what everybody does nowadays on videos like this. It has become the norm, it is what people expect to hear, when you don't tune things people get uncomfortable hearing real live singing. Get used to it. It is not that interesting to just point it out like this and just complain about it. It would be more interesting to go much deeper into the technical side of how it's done and talk about how to make it less obvious and showing and comparing good/bad ways of doing it on the same material. It is not like you can work in music and refuse to do it. You need to learn how to do it well.
