Containment on the CZU Lightning Complex Fires is now up to 13%, but sometimes the story is bigger than even the numbers. In this case, that would be the detectable air of optimism among firefighters today. Wilson Walker reports. (8/24/20)

Firefighters are one of the most respected folks in the world. They are our heroes. The criminals steal from others are bad; those who steal from firefighters are the lowest being of all.

I live here and know there are Hundreds of homeless people who live at the base of highway 9 and now they will all be displaced like the thousands of housed who are now homeless and during a pandemic that the county was funded by the state to put in hotels and instead bought them tents and a porta pottie . I AM PRAYING FOR OUR FIRE FIGHTERS AND THE ANIMALS AND RESIDENTS who are all in danger from these fires. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Right. Trace and track this dude narrow that dude down to nothing. Make the arrests encouraged needed to detain these wrong individuals. Law Enforcement and CalFire personnel deserve much way more than this.

Respectfully, how could someone drain his whole account? A thief would need a PIN # (limit on how much can be withdrawn from an ATM), or have a fake ID (walk in the bank and make a withdrawal?), plus there are other controls. How could someone get away with this? Best wishes to this firefighter and all that are fighting these fires.
