The 92nd Hokkaido Music Parade, one of the largest marching band festivals in Japan, was held in the center of Asahikawa City on the 8th. Under clear skies, about 2,800 people from 81 groups, mainly from the Kamikawa region, participated, coloring Asahikawa's early summer with their light-hearted rhythms.
