The Eden Origins are such fantastic instruments; I have my tenor currently strung low G, which works really well

Thanks for the comparison, prefer the Worth browns and the bonus for me is they get rid of the squeak of wound strings 👋

At first: Wow, what a very beautiful looking and sounding baritone! I like the Worth strings more. The sound is fuller, rounder and more complete, just like your description of the baritone.

This demo was super useful for me! Thank you! D’Addario all the way!

This baritone really appeals to me. As for the strings…the worth browns have an appealing mellowness. The D’Addarios give it an appealing guitar-like quality. I lean towards the D’Addarios here, since they bring out more boldness to the tone, but it’s obviously pretty subjective.

Thanks Paul, interesting observations. I might well agree (today, anyway!)

I think tone wise I slightly prefer the D'Addario Titaniums, to my own surprise! (As a listener, I don't mind the occasional squeek)

As a player, I would choose the Worth Browns because I really dislike wound strings. As I listener, I appreciate the sharper jangle of the d'Addarios.

Yes, I would probably agree that a hybrid between the two would be handy (if impossible!)

Definitely D'addario for me. I love Worth Brown's but on that instrument, I would choose D'addario. I love my Eden Tenor too.

Never played a baritone. But on sound, Worth for me, just a fluorocarbon fan. Thanks for taking the time.

Taking the time? No problem Mike - after all, without this video I'd probably not sell any! But kind of you to say!

Worth all the way... found them better fitting to my taste, in every example. No annoying finger noise when sliding and they sound even. Have been looking at every baritone uke review(fitting my budget) and noticed a lot of D'addario strings among them. I'm not saying they are bad, but they give it more of a guitar-like sound with those two steel wound strings. If that was my goal, I would probably go for a guitar and mute the 2 lowest strings instead... Following up on that thought, does Worth Strings make 6 string-sets for guitar like that? Edit: short answer: no. But I should have known, as someone using mostly flatwounds on bass, that there are similar options for the egg cutters out there 😁 found D'addario flat-top strings and Thomastik chrome steel flatwounds. Maybe someone out there will develop an all carbon set for guitar? Would love to know what thats like

Definitely the d'addario for me too. Also from a playing perspective the tension on the worth browns for baritone when I tried them was off. That low D is too flabby!

I know what you mean, certainly low - nice to the touch but a bit rattly if you give it lots of welly!

Agreed. That Worth Brown low D *sounds* flabby!

Hi Matt! I have your Eden Origin Tenor and absolutely love it, can’t put it down. Can you tell me the size difference between the baritone and the tenor? I looked on your site but can’t find specs. I wish you had a side by side video playing both. The sound of the tenor is really gorgeous. It’s a hard call on these strings, I have to say! Pluses to both. I’m in the US so can’t come to see them in person, sadly. Thanks for creating an instrument that gives me such crazy happiness.

Hi - sorry I missed this comment earlier - the baritone is around 3 inches longer in total length. Glad you like your tenor :)
