Magic trading DLo was so ironic for me on a personal level. I've been a Lakers fan since Magic entered the league in 79-80. I was nine years old. When he made his announcement in November of 91 it broke my heart and I couldn't watch anymore. Barely tuned in during the Kobe-Shaq/Kobe-Gasol days. For some reason, I fell in love with DLo in college and was overjoyed when we drafted him. I never gave up on him and new (the way I knew with Brandon Ingram) that he was special. When Magic got rid of him, and like DLo said, kicked him on his way out, I lost a little respect for him. And then even more for the way he handled the rest of his tenure in the front office. Mad respect for DLo though. I wish him (and BI) the best going forward.

They didn't cut anything out. Russell was about to tell the story of Kobe and Nick Young talking trash during practice. It's on KZfaq. But I think Russell didn't want to mention Nick Young's name due to their history. So he just changed the subject. That's why it clearly looks like he didn't answer JJ's question.
