r u forreal? yeah this song seems very Prince-esque but obvs God wanted it for D'Angelo this song is a classic one of myfaves and I'm not sure if Prince did it it would have the same vibe haha no shade to Prince. This song just stands out the most for me among D'Angelos hits.

@Mindsetolympics Yes. He Brought it to Prince and he turned it down. He had Prince in Mind when writing it. But Prince was a Multinstrumentalist. So, He'd rather do the work than someone else. I understand how he felt. To have your own song is like having an identity. And D'Angelo's was with this one. 💯💯 But Rest In Peace to the Purple One who always Stayed Funktabalicious. 💜 💫💿😌✌🏾🎼👑👑
