Thirty years ago, my Institute director gave us a lesson on what would happen if the First Presidency and 12 were all killed in a plane crash or something. It made me realize just how well the church is organized.

Can you Imagine how we will feel when Christ says that to us. "There is a place prepared for you in the mansions of my Father. And he addresses us as a good and faithful servant. Wow, what greater blessing can we hope for. To be able to stand in the presence our our beloved heavenly Father with his only begotten Son? Along with our family. I can barely take it all in.

You changed my life with your knowledge of the priesthood and your time with Hank Smith and John Bytheway on Follow Him. I sent that podcast to all of my female friends who were struggling and even those who were not with how priesthood in families and priesthood keys work. Love you ladies and all the covenant keeping women of the church. The Lord does love us and honor us in His church.

I don't get it either. I don't want to downplay sincere people who are trying to follow Christ of other faiths however there is so much more understanding in The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints. Truly we are a blessed people because of the keys, the Authority and of course the Houses of the Lord. The words of our beloved Prophet from God are true. We shall see greater blessings, priveledges and miracles than the world has ever seen.

I love your passion, but I also want to tell you in honesty that it gets in the way because half of your lesson is spent on exuberance and we're just like, Please get to the next topic...Please teach rather than boast. I understand that Ammon "boasted in the Lord" and I think that is what you're trying to do, but I also feel like it gets in the way and it's almost like, I know something you don't know which is frustrating to people like me. I really want to understand the doctrine of the priesthood more fully and be able to live within those covenants more brightly and boldly but without guile because I have a better understanding. I know you and Elaine can share that so much more clearly, but you continually cut Elaine off, and I really would love to hear what she has to teach as well. I love what you had to teach, and there were a couple of points that I took away today that I'm like, OK i'm really glad I understand that now clearly. You are an amazing person. I just hope that you can watch how you present your teaching so that the filler words don't get in the way of the spirit and the confidence of your fellow covenant sisters. ❤

I agree that I love Barbara’s passion here. ❤ Something I’ve learned as I listen and try to learn from those who definitely know more than me, is that they can’t just give me this deep love and knowledge no matter how hard they try. I’ve learned I HAVE TO BE WILLING TO DO THE WORK. For me her passion and filler words and extra love is just a lesson in and of itself, for me to want to get to where she is. So that I too can love the scriptures and know the prophets and the teachings a little better. 💪❤️ to have those things engraved on the fleshy tables of my heart too. Instead of putting the weight of what I need to learn on Barbara and Elaine, because in reality they are not my teachers, the Spirit is the teacher. I like to take control and responsibility for my spirituality instead of blame the teacher and say, “what can I do to learn this doctrine more fully in my life?” “How can I really know it like Barbara?” In the words of what Elder Bednar would say to me is, what is the spirit trying to teach me that they haven’t said? And I think if you took away a couple things you’re ahead of the game. So far I took away that I need to read D&C 109 at least 5 more times. 🫶😉 my reading comprehension is usually pretty low, but don’t give up. Stay strong warrior sister! 💪
