Bro - prioritize your health and wellness. Every one of your subscribers are going to keep refreshing and will make sure we pick up your videos as soon as they are dropped - that is a promise. Don’t let the algorithm come between you and the most important things. Heck if you wanted to drop a 10 minute, unedited video of you relaxing with a cup of tea and some d20s (gotta hit that #dnd requirement) - we’ll watch that. Good compromise? You get to take it easy, video comes out, everybody wins!

This. So much, this. Self-care is a very real (and sadly ignored!) necessity. Grind yourself down too far, you won't be making videos at all for a week or more while you're sick in bed.

I used to work the 7p-7a shift when i worked at baptist emergency (an 80 room er mind u) for almost 5 years, still havent fixed my sleep schedule back to normal, kinda been surviving on 3-4 hours a "night" since (air quotes on night bc those hours are usually starting at 3-5am)

Tales of the Valiant also gives you the option of taking additional pacts, but the first one is free. So the complaint still valid that it doesn't feel like you have more points

I wish the Archfey had been official by the time I started my Witchlight PC. The DM wasn't comfy (newer DM) with UA stuff, and I got it. My fey knight (Hexblade/Swashbuckler) is a lot of fun, but this sounds so cool. and I agree, I've never REALLY wanted to play a fighter (maybe echo knight) or barb before, but now I really want to try it sometime.

I feel you on the night shift thing. I just got off a week of night 12s but the halfway nice thing for me is I'm away from family for that week. There isn't quite as much balancing for me. But I always stay awake after my last shift through the day so I can hard reset ASAP. Has moderate success.

I wish that they had given the base pact options to Wizard do a Scholor (2 extra cantrips faster ritual casting and Expert in an Int skill 5th another Expert in any wis or int skill) Blade Song (add Int to AC, Martial Weapons and Multi attack cantrip option at 5th) Or Master you famaliar like warlock and an attack use as bonus action at to attack with it at 5th)

Do you think the embargo lifting early may be a sign that they may be prereleasing the PHB at GenCon that is the time doors open 7AM indy time. It would be fitting because that is the Con Gary Gygax started.

I'm hearing of rolling black outs in my area now as well. Also in the East Coast, probably like 4-5 ish hours from upstate New York. So yeah, sounding like it's getting rough.

Hmm, I've got a feeling WotC is going to drop something major at GenCon since they are letting you drop yours a couple days early. IF my math is right, there should be the cleric, bard, sorcerer, and monk next week. If you are lucky, you will be able catch up this weekend on everything.

One big thing for me, the old text from hexblade where you could summon and stow a magic weapon from a magic demiplane (after completing the necessary ritual) is not present.

Dude lvl 8 E. Knight with lvl 12 'lock of any choice. 12-15 E Blasts in 1 turn.

Night shift is a different animal. I've found also the older I get the more I can't stand it. It just puts you in a perpetual state of fatigue.

Maybe it's just me, but the art for the "Sphinx of Wonder" looks an AWFUL lot like the Tressym. Nothing wrong with that, I'm just curious if they're renaming the Tressym to pull it out of the Forgotton Realms and make it a more general creature- that seems to fit the vibe I'm getting from the new books.

I wished they separated Psionics from spellcasting like how it was supposed to be in older editions. Now it's muddy whether or not all Psionics is just a type of magic or in some cases still not.

Every time they made psionics separate it ended up being undernourished and eventually forgotten. Paizo landed on psionics using spellcasting too and honestly that is the only sustainable way to go.

@@PsyrenXY I love me.some psionics but I agree. Having a system alongside magic that *isn't* magic but has a lot of the same capabilities as magic is bloating to a game system and burdensome on players and DMs.
