The first instance of "Tom" is the folk song "where did you sleep last night" (also sometimes called "in the pines" or "my girl"). You can tell by the "where did you sleep-" before they mention tom and the faint "my girl, my girl" while Nikkie tries to turn it off. Nirvana famously covered it. My favorite cover is Joseph Dubay's and it sounds very similar to the version playing in the video!
