D-Day Veteran Relives Landing on Sword Beach in 1944 06.06.14

10 жыл бұрынAt the age of 24 Ken Sturdy landed on Sword Beach with the men of 41 Commando Royal Marines.
He was a signalman with the Royal Navy tasked with sending vital messages back to the ships in the Channel.
Now aged 94 he recounted 6th June 1944 to Rebecca Ricks from his home in Torquay.

As a ex soldier hes right your training does not let you stop to save anyone. You just got to keep no forward
