I was in the Navy, over seas. My wife mailed me a sealed single of Hit em Up. I played it for all my homies on the ship, and we were stunned. IMO, nothing that hard had ever been recorded. @B.Scruby8 ай бұрын
@@WHIPLASHVideosTBTDude was a narcissist, not the psycho full blown one but he still was a narcissit. Surprised people haven't clocked on to that yet. He ALWAYS made shit about him. That's why he was so likeable, charismatic and artistic in the way he made songs. You were seeing things from his perspective even if he wasn't really fully living that life. Don't get me wrong, Pac is a legend but he did some really stupid things when he was alive and people paid the price and are still playing the price (Will Smith). He's a natural talented star and that's that. Rebel INS also suffered a lot because of the fact that he took out Deck's verse from Got My Mind Made Up. That would have given Deck's solo shot better chances especially when his shit got flooded and everything went away. Simply because it was marketed as a Tupac song.
@terrancerobinson208 ай бұрын
Puffy put it out. It was a marketing tactic. Financially it was a brilliant move to ride the wave created by Pac being robbed and shot. Pac had the #1 rap album at the time. Biggie did not release Who Shot Ya! It was Puffy, who had control of that. I will say that Biggie did wrong by calling HOT97 to get Brooklyn to get at Snoop and the Dogg Pound.
@stevenmills91718 ай бұрын
@@daniel022209 Biggie obviously was the writer of the song and if he really meant well for pac, he would have asked his manager puffy not to release who shot ya. Who shot ya was the genesis of west and east coast war.

@@daniel022209whether or not puffy released it...who made that song? Pac is the one who lied but just refused to recant the misnomer he said surrounding him being shot. And being that he joined up with Death row shortly after, it was just a perfect whirlwind. Also, Pac wasn't just on one and did Hit Em Up, he was told to do that by his bosses.

No he didn't. Life After Death had minor slights but those were recorded while Pac was alive, and he never really went back at Pac as he was sure they'd reconcile.
@jimmybonez75286 ай бұрын
@@NickNieves112 Long Kiss Goodnight was recorded after 2Pacs death. He mentions the car accident where he was crippled which only happened after 2Pac died. Further more After big died they cut stuff off it, him calling 2Pac "a faggot ass nigga" etc. THEN he decided to freestyle it on the radio in LA less than 6 months after, likely the reason he died. Dude was a coward all along, exactly what 2Pac was trying to say the entire time.
