I wish D Double could get some recognition here in the States. He's so incredibly talented I think he'd blow up. The majority of American rap is straight garbage, mumblers and fake gangsters. Grime is where it's at. South Africa's Iapetus records has great artists, too.

@@DonDadda45 that's not the case. Eminem smashed it with 100x tempo. The reason we adapted this tempo more was because grime derived from 90s garage. Our taste for music was ready for it.

@@heisenburg8608 bro even Eminem or Logic can't rap on 140bpm. Eminem raps on waaay slower riddims than that, even Rap God is ~90BPM and most of his songs never go above 100. Logic even made a freestyle on Grime and he failed miserably. (big up to these 2 but they just can't keep up with grime). But you're right I'm wrong for bashing all Americans. Memphis Rap actually had similar tempos of Grime/Garage and was also a huge influence to most Grime MCs. These were hard spitters but don't exist anymore either
