Tut bloody tut! What vulgar quarreling! For the information of several people who have raised the question of the slow pace, the Legion Etrangere is by tradition, a desert force. No-one can march for long periods any faster than their pace. As for referring to some of the officers being fat, remember, they have served as well as all the others, now they are older, they hold admin posts. Just look at the medals they wear, they have done as much as any. These men are fine soldiers, one and all. Remember respect is what you must have before you will ever get.

you might wanna add, that they are using the old "saxon pace" which is slower, about 80 steps per minute. the modern infantry pace is 126 a minute i believe...pls. correct me if i am wrong, but that is what i was told...all armies used to march this way in the 'old days'.....

The TV commentators are worse than on the BBC - "Here are the Legion Etrangere and I am going to speak all the time they are marching past the President. I am going to spoil it for everyone watching at home!"

TV commentators do the same for US political conventions. Most parade coverage is also ruined this way.

le destin est la force appartient toujours a une justice, je dirais simplement que le droit de tuer n/appartient pas a la race humaine, mais si humains pensent se donner le droit de tuer , il faut impérativement faire respecter la justice et s/il le faut comme vous le dites par ce que j/appel la légion étrangère , ou par la force armée, j/ai rendu les honneurs a cette légion étrangère ,

Ya plus besoin de coiffeur les jeunes maintenant ils ont le crane rasé ils ont deja la coupe reglementaire si vous vous presentez chez un patron avec les cheveux longs ya pas de boulot pour vous par contre en Allemagne on donne du travail aux jeunes francais qui ont les cheveux longs faut parler l' Allemand ou l' Anglais
