Thank you so very much for sharing this tip because I've been looking for days online, at Hobby Lobby & at Michaels trying to find a Stamen for my Cherry blossoms I'm making to put on my cherry blossom branch with lights and couldn't find any thing that would look right for such a delicate flower....until I found your tutorial! You saved my project!!!!! : )

Good tutorial. These stamens look great, and they're not too hard to make. I'm in the middle of making hairpins and hairsticks with blue sakura flowers on them, so your tutorials helped me a bunch!

For stamens, use fishing line or thick thread. Either use yellow food coloring on semolina or fine sand and pva glue to sick the yellow pollen to the stamen. Cold porcelain to make flowers

Can you use regular white crafts glue like Aleen's Tacky Glue or Elmer's white glue ??
