3 Green Chillies (1 is also Enough My Green Chillies were not Spicy )
4- 5 Garlic Cloves
1 Tej Patta
1 Badi Elachi
4 -5 Laung
3 Cups Water
2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Haldi Powder
1 Pinch Hing
1 Tbsp Desi
MORE WATER AS NEEDED
Coriander Leaves
FOR TADKA
2 Tbsp Desi Ghee
1 tsp Jeera
2 - 3 Garlic Cloves Chopped
2 - 3 Dried Chillies
1 Pinch Hing
1 Tbsp Kasuri Methi
Ginger Juliennes
1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder

Soaking dal for sometime is always suggested to remove pesticide residues and other chemical preservatives ... it goes for vegetables and fruits as well .. Never eat any raw food item without soaking ...this was a part of my study and project in college .. If u don't believe study harmful effects of pesticides and insecticides in foods.. and u will never eat anything without soaking ever again
