Sometimes I watch reactions just hoping somebody else will love something as much as I do. 😅 I have listened to villain’s “Walk up in the club” dozens of times because I love it as a song. Not a beatboxer, so I’m not trying to learn the routine or anything. I just straight up adore it as a song. But man, seeing D-Low react? He might just have loved it more than me. Maybe. Watching D-Low react to great beatboxing is its own special kind of thrill. And the way he just drops knowledge. Sometimes it’s a bit cryptic for me as an outsider (like, when he was doing a kick and snare on top of Villain-what did that mean? Was it just, like, this is what a different beatboxer would have done?) Anyway, loved this. Thank you, D-Low! You always bring joy to your audience ❤️

You bring up a really good point about the average listener and none beatboxer not being able to comprehend the technicality of some of your fellow artists. I recall months ago not being a huge fan of B-Art because he has a very fast, and at the time, seemingly muddy sound. But as I listened more and developed an ear for the craft, I learned to recognize B-Art specifically for how complex and tactful his performances are. That extends to being able to recognize Villain and his complexity, and people like you who break it all down helps immensely.

I actually really dont know how often I return to this video and check out your reaction on Villains round 1 because its just simply the same way I felt, when I first heard it. I actually paused and was like "oh my god this swag" and couldnt hold myself after he actually pops out the adlip "swag" and I was like "yeah man, you know you got it!" Love your reactions man

After multiple listens, his beats really started growing on me quick. He has his own style but can replicate every other style of different beat boxers because he is so versatile and has an insane level of range in the sounds he creates .
