This song was originally a joke inside the band because people didn’t think they played enough “heavy” songs. They played it live a few times under the name Holey Moley before finishing it entirely and recording it.

This was actually shot during Covid lockdown, thats why its such a ' simple' movie. Just a little makeup etc. It did turn out absolutely fantastic though.

This video was filmed by her husband as many of their early videos were as they were just getting started and didn’t have the budget. Definitely Blair Witch Project and Midsommar vibes. Her makeup was done by the former bass player’s fiancé. This is the song that blew them up once it was released during COVID. They know how to bring the heavy and the vibes 🤘🏻Courtney’s vocals are just insane! Sometimes ya just gotta get punched in the face for less than 3 minutes 😂

@@dna2001 As a horror movie nut I love it! lol I have a Spiritbox shirt with her demon face on it. Ever since they formed Spiritbox the majority of their videos she usually looks like she’s talking even though she’s screaming. She said she wants to throw viewers off and make them slightly uncomfortable to kinda fit with the horror theme of the band. Though she also tends to do it in videos of theirs that have no relation to anything horror. It’s like her signature thing or something lol

One of the few all harsh songs, most have a mix of cleans and harsh. Though there are a few mostly to all clean too. Try "Constance" for the later. And for a newer song, with a good mix, "Jaded" from last fall's EP ' The Fear of Fear'. One take videos? Their song "Circle With Me" has one.

🤘😊👍saw spiritbox live on Tons of Rock festival in Oslo Norway. They played one of the smaller stages but was the highlight of the festival by far!

Yeah you can pretty much trust the community to steer you right when it comes to watching the live or one take version of particular songs before or instead of the video.

Keep the Spiritbox ball rollin". Too Close/Too Late is one of my favorites from them. It's a nice cool,chill video unlike this one. 😁 As someone else mentioned, doing a live reaction stream can be iffy when it comes to KZfaq. If they don't like it they will shut you down. But it would be a fun time!

I can't remember if you've done Jaded or not yet, but I saw it pop up at the end there and its one of their more recent songs and its definitely one of my favorites. Its somewhat divisive among the fans I think because its definitely a more metalcore inspired vibe, but I believe they won a grammy for it. I'm sure someone can confirm. I'm a 2010's metalcore boy at heart so it hit all the right spots for me.
