Bossa nova é o termo pelo qual ficou conhecido um movimento de transformação do samba irradiado a partir da Zona Sul da cidade do Rio de Janeiro no final da década de 1950 e que, por conseguinte, passou a dar nome ao estilo de interpretação e acompanhamento rítmico dele surgido, que ficou conhecido como “batida diferente”. De acordo com o musicólogo Gilberto Mendes, a vertente era uma das “três fases rítmicas do samba”, na qual a "batida" da bossa havia sido extraída a partir do "samba de raiz". Segundo o jornalista Ruy Castro, a bossa nova era “uma simplificação extrema da batida da escola de samba”, como se dela tivessem sido retirados todos os instrumentos e conservado apenas o tamborim. A bossa nova daria lugar, no final da década de 1960, a MPB, com a fusão da bossa nova com ritmos regionais e folclóricos brasileiros. 😊🇧🇷

I love Bossa Nova as much as LoFi. Both are great in my opinion. I'm not really music-savy so I don't know about how technically good both of these genres are but they just sound great when I listen to them, doubly so when it's Touhou content!

Playing this during my dentist visit, 4 teeth are getting removed and this mix is a godsend! Edit: I somehow made It felt just like a few minutes but i have never felt this so… I don’t know! I'm 24 so i think maybe i'm a little old to enjoy touhou games, series, manga etc but i don't care about this music, i love it, it just came on the right moment, when i'm passing through the worst depression, it just came, thank you! edit: i'm 25 now, still missing many things from my younger years...i'm happy, at least and grateful...and still...still...loving touhou lore so much, it's like my inner peace or something

@@TripDataD a good classic one to start is the 6th - Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. It's the first one for windows. The previous ones were for PC98 and you'd need an emulator. You unlock the extra stage by beating it on normal without continues. Good challenge to start before playing in the hard and lunatic modes. Just for the music alone it's worth it lol

I'm 28 and I can tell you right now, the fanbase has been around strong for a good decade and a half even in the west. You'll find many people older than both of us. The early Nico Nico videos were spread about via an assortment of Flash animations more than 10 years ago. The remix culture that came with the creator's policy of allowing fan works without complications led this to be much more than a simple franchise about girls shooting laser beams at one another. The Touhou Project is factually a series of Shmups that ZUN created, but it's also everything that was created around it. The first time I ever saw a torrent being measured in the Terabytes was when someone compiled doujin albums for the franchise, back in 2012ish.

Bossa Nova não é apenas apreciada por japoneses, você encontra muita referência em músicas de outros países também como Islândia, EUA, UK, Alemanha etc. É um gênero apreciado no mundo inteiro. E sobre o caso específico da Shibayan Records, começaram a usar mais bossa nova recentemente. Nas antigas era um estilo mais pop e eletrônico, hoje é mais puxado pra um lo-fi/bossa-nova. Outros artistas japoneses (mais antigos) que também terminaram mexendo com Bossa Nova foram o Tatsuro Yamashita e o Masayoshi Takanaka, tendo o último feito um álbum completo em homenagem ao samba e bossa nova chamado "Brasilian Skies", inclusive você encontra completo no KZfaq.

very nice compilation. In fact this is the first i've seen that includes the more obscure, yet among the best of Shiabayan's arranges such as 星をつむぐよ. solitary girl, 泡沫と繭, 風舞う春に. Tho as the video title is [ShibayaRecords] i wish you wouldve included songs not arranged by shibayan himself also, Bom dia (good morning) from THBN 1 and 落火流水 (Mutual, Burning Love) from THBN4 wouldve made great additions.
